I have the 3 previous versions and each gets better than the other. The learning curve to hit, bat and field is a challenge at first but with practice and getting tips from the blogging sites for MLB 2k12 on the INTERNET fellow consumers will give you tips and training video links! There are modders on these sites too that have modded stadiums with actual ads like at that ballpark,more current up to date uniforms etc that makes this game even much better and realistic! May be one of the last years to see an arcade style ML baseball game for the PC. An XBOX 360 gamepad is needed to play this game. The game is stat-based to an extent but the user's skill does effect the ultimate outcomes more. The user's skill levels can be tweaked to get close to the actual pro players stat results.
