Myself and my little one really enjoyed the movie.

Angelina Jolie really did a great job playing Maleficent.

My wife and I first saw this movie in the theatre, she is not usually a huge Disney fan. The movie was not even 20 minutes in and she said that we have to buy it when it comes out, now her second favorite behind Frozen. The movie is a twist on the classic movie Sleeping Beauty as told by Sleeping Beauty of what really happened to her life. The special effects are phenominal and the story line and all the twists on the original story is simply priceless. There are a couple scenes that might be a little scary to some little ones, but otherwise very well written for all audiences. The DVD/BluRay extras include a little on how they made some of the effects and costuming which is really neat to see how the magic was done. Plus we always enjoy watching the deleted scenes and seeing why and how they put the story lines in other areas of the movies. Overall an excellent movie that we will enjoy over and over again.
