This is anot her great movie to add to your collection. Now you can watch it anytime you choose. And the price is right for me. I have a budget to stay on track and the best buy prices helps me to stay on target. The quality of the movies are great . Where you can choose from a variety of different types and categories. Also dvd or bluray. So you have a wide range of choices. So visit for yourself to receive a great experience.

I was at Best Buy and I found Maleficent on 4K for $20 and I decided to buy it because I thought it was a great deal for a Disney movie because Disney Blu-Rays and 4Ks charge a premium amount of money for their movies and I found a slipcover with it in good condition. I also haven't gotten a chance to see it yet but I will soon.

Maleficent, a brilliant magical journey from start to finish. The story, although I taught it would be dark, is written in a way that is friendly for all ages. My family loved every minute of this movie. Filled with awesome visual effects and the sound is perfection. Angelina Jolie plays the part so well that I believed Maleficent was a real character. Glad I purchased this blu-ray. We already watched it multiple times. A must have for everyone!

I love this movie. It's a great story and the special effects are cool to watch. Near the beginning of the movie there is a forest fight scene that could be scary'cause nightmares for very young children, but most of the movie would be fine even if it is a little "dark" looking. There are several great characters and towards the end of the movie there is a bit of a surprise which is actually a very sweet surprise.. Jolie is superb as Maleficent!

This is by far one of my favorite Disney retellings and Angelina Jolie was perfect as Maleficent. As much as I enjoy the idea of Maleficent being one of the only Disney villains to have no real motive for her evil doings aside she wanted to, this retelling puts a great spin on an old classic. Casting and acting is phenomenal and the sets/scenes/special effects were amazing. I would highly recommend this film for any Disney fan or fantasy fan.

My favorite part of this character piece is how much sympathy is given to one of the greatest villains of all time. Obviously, if you've seen the movie, you know that it's more of a misunderstanding that leads her to being seen as a villain, but she still could have been 2-dimensional. Normally, I can't stand Angelina Jolie (*cough* homewrecker *cough*) but she is PHENOMENAL in this film. Definitely recommended for children and adults alike!

I love this movie. Also like that this combo has the blu-ray, dvd, and digital copy because while I have a blu-ray player in my room some other rooms in my house are only hooked up to dvd players. And in those times that all the tv's are being used(I have a large family) I have the digital copy that I can watch on my phone or computer. It also doesn't hurt that I only paid $16 for this since I bought it on sale and I had a $5 certificate.

We have two young kids, both loved this movie, first we rented it then decided it was so good we had to own a copy. The blue ray pack includes a digital copy and its a greatly improved digital copy than before, you now get to enter in a code and the digital download links right to your Apple iTunes movie library. No downloading a copy of the movie to a computer instead you can watch the movie on demand from an Apple TV, iPad or iPhone.

First, I would like to say that this was a DVD, Blueray, Online combo pack. 3 for the price of one. The item was on sale for around $10 and I had some reward bucks, so I ended up paying $5 for it. Can't beat that! I loved the movie. Angelina Jolie is one of my favorites and this spin on Maleficent is incredibly creative. If Disney followed this model and offered back-stories for all of their villains, I would be one happy consumer!

I have written my own review, but since I bought 2 copies of this movie, I get 2 shots at a review. Well the most beautiful, intelligent and devastatingly lovely human being in my life said it was "Awesome," and when I ordered it to be in her mailbox on the day it was released (thank you so much Best Buy!) I made her day. This woman is ALWAYS right, so stop reading the reviews now and order this movie. It will make your day as well!

My wife and kids saw this movie I the theater and said it was a must buy for the home. Once out, I did follow their recommendation. It was a good movie with a strong performance from Angelina Jolie, but there were a few parts in the story and plot that could be better. However, that aside, visually it is a great movie to view and show off your HD system with vivid colors on occasion to contrasting blacks and shadows. Sound is strong too with a nice envelopment from the audio track; there is not any consistent LFE, just a few dips here and there for those that are expecting lots of "boom". Overall the movie a good and a nice treat from the norm of Hollywood while still pleasing to eyes and ears.

It didn't sound promising - a fresh look at the "Sleeping Beauty" story - which is usually a warning for "we're going to mess with something you love". But in this case it actually worked - "Maleficent" is a superb film, filled with action, humor and a delightful performance by Angelina Jolie in the title role. Full marks to the script, too, by the talented Linda Woolverton (who wrote Disney's brilliant "Beauty And The Beast").

I went into this movie with mixed emotions but, high hopes. And I, personally, was not disappointed. I found the story to be very well done. Knowing that Maleficent wasn't really just an evil character I believed her to be all of these years. There is an origin for everyone and a reason for everyone's behavior (unless you're a sociopath...but, I guess even that is a reason). Back to the movie...very good story and good ending.

Maleficent special effects, color balance and saturation, as well as the Dolby Atmos audio Shine when compared to the excellent blu ray (also included). One of the best newer Disney films in recent years. Pick up a copy and enjoy for yourself and / or your family.

I was very much intrigued by the storyline. This movies focused wasn't ur usual princess fairytale but more of a love and hate story that welcomes the greater good. Evil is not always born that way nore doesn't hv to end tragically. Angelina Julie gv an excellent performance in her character as Maleficent and reveals an endearing side that not all witches are pure evil. This movie definitely captures audience of all ages. :-)

Watched this recently with four 10 yr olds ,one 5 yr old, and my wife. Everyone loved the movie including me! We thought parts may be too scary...no. The new Disney movies app also works great. Tested it on multiple devices. Very slick to be able to watch this anywhere you want without needing the actual disc. Wish Disney would allow me cloud access to all of the other dozens of DVDs that I have purchased through the years!

This is a retelling of the "Sleeping Beauty" story, also by the Disney studios. It gives the villain's perspective of the story from the beginning and relates how Maleficent became the villain. The special effects were great. You really believed she could fly. It also provided some depth to the character of Maleficent. She also displayed a fun side to her wicked ways. The film is entertaining for both children and adults.

Two words...Angelina Jolie! This role was made for her. If you want to watch a visually entertaining movie with a strong character as the title role...watch this! Angelina Jolie is perfectly cast in the role as Maleficent. Some of the other characters lack any luster, but she makes up for them in every way. Yes, some other critics didn't care for it, but she plays her part well. A movie I'll be watching again and again.

Love this movie. Surprisingly great, modern take on the original Sleeping Beauty story. Not normally an Angelina Jolie fan, but she definitely nails this role. She is a witty, funny "villain" that you can't help but root for. The special effects are amazing and it's definitely a movie that both kids and adults can enjoy.

Maleficent is brought to life off the automated screen in a big creative look at her life and the true self she thought was only one thing. It has a cinematic lush look and the storyline is a new look at this story through her eyes about how the world and love can turn to the worst possible outcome.
