Unexpected, and magnificent retelling of Disney's Snow White!!! It made a classic even better with a complete start to finish telling of beloved and not so beloved characters in an in depth 3 person and 1 person perspective. Children both young and old will enjoy the cinematography and storyline in this newly re-imaged Disney Classic!!! Buy for yourself...and let the kids also enjoy it!!!!

I love this film. Angelina Jolie is pure magic. The production design, costume design, sound design and soundtrack are all top-tier Disney quality, heightened only by the 4k transfer. I cant speak highly enough of this film. The steelbook is beautiful but glossed, so expect some fingerprints.

Generally I believe trailers and previews build too much hype for media outlets, but this assumption was proven wrong by the charm and grace that all actors and actress's delivered in this film. It tells the classic story but certainly with a more action packed, dramatic and at times humorous interactions between an organic cast of performers. Would deffinently recommend this to a friend!

As a little girl, Sleeping Beauty was my favorite fairy tale. As an adult, this movie puts the icing on the cake for me. Angelina Jolie is awesome as Maleficent and the story fills in the blanks for the years before Aurora turns 16, a great story! I loved it and think any girl who loved the fairy tale will fall in love with Maleficent. You find out the true meaning of "true loves kiss"

Great movie. Great picture. Great acting. Everything about this movie is great. Great for family with or without kids. Just watched this the other night with my girlfriend. Popped some popcorn, curled up on couch with a blanket and cuddled as we watched a great movie.

Angelina Jolie is great as the titular character, who has been my favorite Disney villain since I first watched Sleeping Beauty. The story is intriguing, although a few holes are here and there, especial if comparing hard to the animated classic. The animation is nice, for the most part (still not keen on the fairies). Jolie is, again, great, but the other character are a bit too-cardboard for me. Regardless, it's an enjoyable film with the right amount of darkness.

I bought this movie in 4k was glade i did. It was awesome. I love all movies bought it because of my grand kids but i loved it too. Its picture was awesome surround was awesome but again i have polk surround and 75 in vizo that i also bought at best buy. Over all i rate the movie 8.9 .

How does one make a movie work that seems to have the opposite storyline from an uber-classic everyone knows and loves? Great story telling. Add incredible acting from both women - who completely own their personae? This is one amazing movie! When you buy this - put it just before Sleeping Beauty in your library. And remember - DON'T forget to invite Maleficent to whatever - ever!

This Movie is fantastic. Disney really outdid themselves by creating a movie that all of us adults know how it should be and completely turning it on its head. Maleficent leaves you knowing that there is good and bad in the world and the one that wins is the one allowed to win. That may be a bit black and white but another thing this movie does is blend that into some nice grey.

I have been anticipating this movie since its introduction to the big screen and patiently waited until the Blu-Ray was released. After watching this once, I could have literally started it over and watched it again at that moment. I thoroughly enjoyed the story-line and it kept you involved. This is an overall great family movie and I recommend it to anyone who has not seen it.

This was a fun movie, and a nice touch to remaking the original. Sorry for any spoilers, but from the King in the original to the king in this one, it was kinda hard to believe that part. The rest was very well done. Still not sure why they changed the fairy's names though. The CGI was amazing and loved how Maleficent would fly. Great movie and would recommend to young and old.

I bout this for my daughter a few weeks ago as a surprise for her excellent report card. She & my wife saw it in the theater & have been telling me ever since that I HAD to see it. I wasn't convinced, but I have to say, this is an excellent movie. The reinvention of this fairy tale is pleasing in every way. It's just a great family movie & my daughter loved the bonus features.

I did not expect to enjoy this movie as much as I did, and I felt the same way about this Bluray. The picture was perfect and crisp. Sound was amazing, and of course the special features were a nice little surprise. Most important thing you have to remember about this movie, is that it is not in any way a sequal, a prequal, to the Disneys Sleeping Beauty, and that's ok by me!

Let me start by saying, I am not a fan of Angelia Jolie and generally I will avoid her movies, but I love Sleeping Beauty. It was my favourite movie growing up so I decided to give this movie a chance. I am very happy that I did. This is a movie that my children and I will watch time and time again as a family, just like I watched Sleeping Beauty so many times with my family.

Saw it in theaters with the family and was more than happy to purchase it to see it again at home. I watched all the deleted scenes, which weren't as rough cut as I was expecting, though some had unfinished 3D models in them which was neat to see. Lots of behind the scenes/making of footage which was interesting as well if you are into that sort of thing. Money well spent!

I loved this movie in theaters and was thrilled when it finally came out to DVD! Angelina Jolie really shines in her role. Disney did an amazing job with an old fairy tail and turned it into a beautiful story of friendship, family, and love. It continues their trend of girl empowerment stories, like Frozen, proving you don't need a prince charming to race to your rescue.

This movie is a magical story about Aurora and Maleficent. Angelina Jolie plays the role of Maleficent with a charm that makes you love her character. This movie is absolutely superb. The visuals are stunning, the mythology is excellent, and the characters are interesting. I'm not much of an Angelina Jolie fan, but she was AWESOME in this movie!

This is a great movie to watch with the family. It's not really for little kids, but I would say 10 years old and up would be fine. Parents can kids alike will love this movie. It is a nice variation on the story of Sleeping Beauty. I really enjoyed it! We saw this in the theater and then purchased the blu-ray so that we would have it to watch whenever we wanted to...

Perfect gift for a movie buff! Added to a collection already building and will continue to build. Best Buy always has good prices on Black Friday on their movies and a wide selection to chose from. Also, the "Best Buy only" Blu Rays are great and an added bonus

When a king rages why on young innocent girl and destroys her wonderful paradise. She then put's a curse on the kings new born child Aurora. Wondering later if this may have been a mistake an Aurora may hold the key to her salvation. This is Disney at it's best in my opinion.
