If you are like me and was never really sure about the story of Maleficent, then this movie is for you. It is the most beautifully done movie, filled with a great story, stunning affects and a story that will excite you, make you laugh and touch your heart. But it also has action,great fight scenes and will draw you in at every turn.

This movie was great. When I thought about the cast and Angelina Jolie playing this character I wasnt too thrilled but after watching it, she was perfect for it. The story, although predictable after seeing the trailers was still captivating and the actual visuals of the film in Hi-Def would be worth watching even if the movie stunk.

I really like Maleficent it was a fantastic movie with amazing visual effects and now with the 4K version I get amazing colors and sounds on my reciever which has 4K ability so I get the amazing sound like the theater with the low lows and the clarity I love.

I shopped around many stores such as Walmart & Target and found the Malificent Blu - Ray at a higher price. I found it at an inexpensive price at Best Buy. The quality was great too. It isn't the first time I find great deals at Best Buy on a variety of Blu - Rays & DVDs. I recommend Best Buy for all entertainment & home appliances.

I purchased this movie because I was always a fan of anything Disney. Thought from previews that this was a kids movie, but wanted to see it anyway. I was really surprised. It was a great movie. I have watched it 3 times seeing items I missed each time before. I would recommend to anyone that loved the old classics with a new twist.

I wasn't sure if I would like the film, but after 5 minutes I knew it would be fantastic. This film is recommended for all ages. Angelina Jolie is amazing. I would also recommend the movie's bonus features. It had lots of interesting information about the film, including Jolie discussing why her daughter played a role in the film.

I was weary at first when I heard about Disney's live-action Sleeping Beauty remake taking a different approach, but Disney doesn't disappoint! It's a great viewpoint on a classic and it's always wonderful to see you favorite Disney characters brought to life! Great movie for kids and the kids at heart, especially Disney lovers!

Taking a whole new direction Maleficent might be off putting to some purists, but I found it to have its own merits. More fantasy elements and darker tragic take on the villain who is shown to be the real hero with the power hungry king now the antagonist. I enjoyed the effects and acting for the most part and felt it to be far better re-telling than other recent efforts of the sort I have watched (ex: Alice in Wonderland). I would suggest checking it out if you are okay with significant changes tot he story and accept it on its own.

Great change to a classic story that makes the story more entertaining than a live remake of same story. I’m not a big fan of Angelina Jolie, but she did alright in this movie to not ruin a well thought change to the classic story.

A movie that bypasses the traditional beats and simple character definitions. This story dives headlong into the unexpected and keeps surprising you. Not the traditional fairy tale and its all the better for it. The casting of characters is a treat that makes this worth multiple viewings. Just a delight for all to watch and own.

Its got to be one of Disney's all time best movies. The graphics are incredible, especially all the neon lights in the lake scene. Sound quality is awesome and the picture in blue ray is almost perfect. Get this in Blue Ray if you can. It comes with 2 DVDs, one regular and one Blue Ray. Good holiday present for the whole family.

I really enjoyed this movie. It takes the classic Sleeping Beauty tale and turns it upside down. Here Maleficent is more misunderstood than anything. It is fun to see how Disney handles the juxtaposition of what we already know about the character and what we've not been yet been clued in on to create something very unique. For those that are fans of Disney movies, in general, you will not be disappointed. For those that enjoy fantasy movies, there is much that you could appreciate, as well.

Disney has made some good movies in recent years, but "Maleficent" will go down as one of the greatest Disney movies ever! Angelina Jolie made this movie and in my opinion gave an Oscar performance! Not sure that Disney will be able to top this Movie for some time! If you do not own a copy, get it, you will not be disappointed!

When the previews for Maleficent were released, my hopes were sky-high. This movie did not disappoint. Dark and beautifully designed sets, costumes, and effects are merely the icing on the cake of an extremely well-written, excellently casted film. Angelina Jolie is brilliant, as usual. This movie deserves more than five stars.

I was skeptical at first when viewing this movie as I wasn't a fan of Angelina's but from start to finish this movie held my attention and the attention of the entire family. Angelina's performance was spectacular along with the other actors. This is now a family favorite and I am happy we purchased this movie for Christmas.

In my opinion one of the best sci fi movies ive seen in a veru long time. Angelina. Did an awesome job as the witch. Great special effects. Would watch this movie over and over. Dont think i could ever get bored with this movie. will tell all of my friends to check this movie out. Great family movie,all ages Two thumbs up!!!

Like always, Disney does a fantastic job of delivering a positive life message while entertaining us in very unique and magical way. I don't want to give the story away so, I would just have to say that this move is not what I was expecting and ended up as an awesome move that is totally different than any other Disney film.

It takes some doing to make one of the more evil characters in fairy tales sympathetic but Walt Disney Studios managed it. From the innocent start to fierce protector to betrayed heroine to evil witch to sympathetic character to redeemed heroine again to a different kind of happy ending, this was a very entertaining story.

Sleeping Beauty is one of my favorite children's movies. I was worried that this movie wouldn't live up to the animated movie. Once I saw the movies I was pleased to discover that my expectations were not only meet but exceed! Absolutely love this movie & would highly recommend anyone to see it.

This is what Sleeping Beauty should have been all those years ago. To say she "fell in love" with a random stranger after a five minute meeting to have him awaken her with "true love's kiss" is absurd. This retells the story in a way that could actually happen. (If fairies, spells, and curses were a real thing.)
