Bought this for my 8 year old for Christmas. I am VERY impressed by this movie. I've read several reviews of people unhappy about various aspects but I thought it was an awesome flick! Not a hard core Disney person so maybe that has something to do with it. Awesome fight scenes!

The movie is a completely different telling of an old worn out story. I am very surprised how much I loved the movie. The special effects the photography the story line and the directing brought the story to life. There is much magic in the movie!! Made me feel like a kid again.

I bought this the day it came out. Best buy was well stocked and had it available for a great price. The movie looks amazing in Blu-ray. Its my preferred method of home movie watching. My only method. It's a great movie to own whether you're single or have a family of 12 kids.

I recommend the steelbook over standard always for added protection. I still invest in movies so I want the best picture, therefore I choose 4k because it as if I can touch it. I love this more than part 2

My family and I loved watching it at the movie theater and enjoyed it again at home. This is a great story that allows the villain to be the hero at the end, complete twist to the classic Sleeping Beauty. Some scenes can be scary, do not suggest kids younger than 8 to watch it.

It's totally different story than what you have seen in a classic disney tale, but in my honest opinion is far better! It has nice special effects a solid story and is a fun all around adventure and most of it is in thanks to Angelina Jolie who did an amazing job with the role!

Watched this with my spouse and 12 daughter and we enjoyed it quite a bit. I had heard a lot of controversy and discussion about underlying themes of the movie, but we preferred to view it just for pure entertainment. Angelina Jolie delivered a solid performance and was spot on in appearance to the Disney animation. The acting wasn't Oscar performances, but it had plenty to of wit to amuse, action to watch, and fantasy creatures. We'll watch it again.

Completely Breathtaking! The cinematography and skillful acting were just brilliant! I won't drone on and on about it, because the film speaks for itself. Masterful, astounding and elegant. It is a film for all ages and I'm glad that I got the chance to witness its brilliance!

Angelina Jolie seldoms make a movie and i really missed her. Glad i bought the movie, spectacular special effects, a very good back story for Sleeping Beauty, and Jolie is just so good in whatever role she plays, not just a pretty face. Hope to see more of her in d big screen.

I wanted to see this movie in theaters, but never had the chance. When it came out on Bluray, I thought, why not buy it and see what it's like. I'm so glad I did. The story was a great new take on the classic tale. Wonderful family movie and enjoyable for the kids and adults.

A new twist in an old story. This movie surprised me at how good it really was. I loved the different story line! It was like watching a whole new movie. I'm sure everyone has seen Cinderella at some point in time but this gives you a whole different feeling about Maleficent.

the best part of the animated was the fight scene at the end. The best part of this movie is the the whole movie. The transformation of an unrepentant heart with something unexpected. Love

This film was of "the best that Disney does" category. Awesome storyline, casting and something for children and adults. My 6 yr old son then "christened' me to be Maleficient for Halloween. It was a hoot...and one of my best costumes yet! "A christening? ...how wonderful."

This is a movie I forget came out until commercials for the sequel started to air. Glad Best Buy gave it a wonderful Steelbook to take my money and make me excited for Mistress of Evil. However a fun deep movie.

I grew up knowing that Maleficent is pure evil.. this story now tells my growing kids that, although one might be seen as evil, there is goodness inside him/her that can make him/her to change for the better... good movie in my opinion.

if you have kids they will love this movie. A great retelling of the Sleeping Beauty story we all know and love. The Blu-ray picture quality looks great. I highly recommend Best Buy's preorder promotion. I was able to pickup in store on release today, a seamless transaction.

This live-action, CG-animated adventure once again looks spectacular, though, with the high-tech, talking creatures integrated seamlessly into the film’s twee English location.

I recommend not going into this expecting it to be a rehash of what you know as the story of Sleeping Beauty from the original Disney cartoon. If you do, you'll be disappointed. It's a different spin on the same source material, and taken in that context, it's a good spin.

I love this movie! The disc played well with no issues. I got a blu-ray and dvd so I could give one to family or friend. Also offers digital so I could have it with me to watch anywhere.

Disney trying to squeeze a bit more out Sleeping Beauty, with mixed results. Film looks great in 4K.
