We saw this movie in the theater and, after purchasing it on Blu-ray, have watched it two more times. We really enjoy the story line and its execution. There are some funny moments mixed in as well. Overall, this is a very entertaining movie for the entire family.

Angelina Joline carrys this one. CGI is very good but it is not the old fairy tale. The truly evil queen is not revealed in this version and the prince and princess aren't really hero and rescued. Its more of a negotiation than a battle between good and evil. The fairy godmothers are dim witted and not that entertaining. The King and Queen story is changed dramatically. Time flies between sleeping spell and the princes appearance.

All associated products purchased to support the two TVs are excellent as was the service and set-up provided by the GEEK Squad. Futhure purchases will be at Best Buy. The assistance, information, and time provided by your associate, Matt Wright, was outstanding.

Wasn't expecting to like this, but I've watched it three times in the past two weeks. The story line breathes new life into an old standard and the special effects are seamless. May be a little intense for smaller children but adults and teenagers will enjoy it.

Took my daughters to the theatre to watch this movie. We all loved it. We couldn't wait for it to come out on disc. There was enough excitement for the whole family: fighting, love, and just pure enjoyment. This movie is a wonderful twist to the cartoon version.

This was an excellent movie in the theaters and I am even happier now that it is part of my dvd collection. I have purchased many dvd's from best buy and am truly satisfied with the in-store customer service as well as the selection that is available in-store,

Jolie really makes this movie for me. She takes what would be a good movie and makes it great. Apart from her, there are some awesome visuals and colors, and a good supporting cast. It's full of heartfelt moments and it's a movie I'll be watching over and over.

I was on the fence as to whether my four year old should watch this but after viewing it, she was able to watch it and it has become one of her go-to movies. Disney has done it once again and delivered an amazing movie for audiences to enjoy for years to come.

Overall, this is a great movie. Some of the lines are a little overdone, but it is very reminiscent of Sleeping Beauty. I love the take on Maleficent in this story. It does not follow Sleeping Beauty to a T, yet it does a nice job of thing everything together.

Maleficent is a new and interesting take on a classic tale. I also like that Disney is doing away with the old sexist themes that a woman needs a man to save her and shows true and honest relationships between women. Very empowering story. And family friendly!

What a fabulous twist on the Sleeping Beauty story, told from the perspective of Maleficent. The audience sees how Maleficent grew into her role as villain based on her experiences growing up, and everyone can relate to her heartbreak. A wonderful retelling!

Angelina Jolie is excellently cast for this movie! Underrated while in theaters and missed by many but may very well be a "sleeper" movie of 2014. Don't miss watching nor owning this movie that is sure to enjoyed by all ages and is definitely family friendly.

If you think this is the same old story or just for the children or for women, you will find this surprisingly entertaining. No one could have portrayed this character better than Jolie. Loved, loved, loved the movie and so did the guys we dragged to see it!

So I am not into these types of movies I am into action and comedy ... so when my wife and kids wanted me to watch I rolled my eyes and prepared for the pain of a kids movie remade. Instead, this was a really good surprise. I didn't find myself falling asleep and begging for the power to go out. My point is (to the action and comedy crowd) this will not be a movie where you lose part of your life and will never get it back.

A fantastic retelling of the classic fairy tale, "Sleeping Beauty," in modern Disney style. Great acting, great sound and picture. A must for Disney fans and all movie lovers.

At first I questioned wanting to see this Disney flick but I'm really glad I ended up seeing it. Jolie is such a great actress in this movie (and in general) and she played the role of Maleficent like no one else could have. Was glad to purchase this movie

I love this movie, great twist on an existing story. I already owned this movie but I bought this to upgrade from HD to 4k while it was on sale during black friday

Great movie! My kids, who are 8 and 10 have already watched it three times and we have only had it for two weeks. Great twist on the original.

This is the best family movie we have seen in a long time. It combines adventure, fantasy, and love in a unique retelling from an entirely new perspective of the classic tale of Sleeping Beauty.

Had so much fun with this movie! You can also learn some moral values about anger and love, loyalty and respect. Maleficent teaches one to never act on impulse or anger but to understand what the future is possible of. Great movie to watch with the family.
