We thoroughly enjoyed this movie. We were somewhat skeptical at first with the cast, but it was fantastic. A unique retelling of a classic story that doesn't diminish the original Disney tale that we loved, and gave us a new version to enjoy.

First, I would rate the film at 4 stars. It is entertaining and visually stunning film. The colors really pop on Blu Ray. However, the disc suffers from only offering superficial featurettes. I was hoping for more from the extras (like why and how long they were thinking of this character revisionist film, were there other characters they had in mind, etc.), instead what we get is "this is a real interning character," or "I was intrigued by this idea." Most of the extras feature Angelina Jolie, but very few people that where reasonable for the creation of the film. Another issue, I have with the release is there is no 3 D version available. Disney tends to offer more features on there 3D packages (NOT including the Marvel films). I know at some point they will release a 3D version, however, given the characters history and giving the fairy tale element, I tend to believe they will release a Ultimate Edition or Extended Edition of the film in the future. So if you don't care about Special Features by all means pick up on Blu Ray. But for those of us that like learning about the filmmaking process-WAIT for a better release.

Excellent movie. Funny and entertaining. Can't go wrong with 4k. Grest deal as digital copy was included. Great for your collection. My daughter loves it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. In stead of just being a retelling of the same old story from the perspective of the title character, it both chose to go further, reinvent a bit and move the story in a new and refreshing direction.

Loved this movie. Gives a different look on the original Disney sleeping beauty. Great story and keeps your attention. Originally bought this for my girlfriend but I couldn't stop watching myself. Would definately recommend this to everyone.

My family and I very much enjoyed this film. The overall story was solid with great performances. The special effects were great. Glad to see the Sleeping Beauty story in new light. Always two sides to every story. Definitely worth the buy!

Did not have very high expectations for this movie and to be honest, not sure why. I bought this for my daughter because she loved the movie. I sat down to watch it and was blown away with the new take on an old classic. Enjoyed it a lot!!

I really enjoyed this movie as well, which kind of surprised me. I thought the Sleeping beauty movie was OK when I was a kid, but this in my opinion far surpasses that one. The only thing I am disappointed about is there was no 3D release!

This is a nice movie, my wife and daughter love this movie. this is pack of DVD and blueray. DVD we are using in our SUV while blueray is for home, it also comes with digital download however not tried yet we bought it on Blackfriday sale

Perfect purchase for a gift. I was able to locate this Blu-Ray (2) disc package easily at the store. Quality of the package met expectation as well as the price for this set. I would purchase another Blu-Ray disc movie from Best Buy.

The clarity of this picture is fantastic. The construction and presentation of these limited edition steelbooks also add to the luster if you are a collector. highly recommended.

Malificient DVD was such a great deal. It came with a regular disc. A blu Ray disc. And a code to get the movie on my phone or note!!! So kids keep one in upstairs tv room. Blu Ray with the "good" tv and one to travel in my car for kids!!!

I would recommend this movie to a friend. I waited for this movie to come out at best buys so that I can purchase it for my daughter, It was worth the wait. Great features and actors. My daughter is a fan of DAKOTA Fanning and her sister.

This movie is much like the long line of Disney movies. One of the things I love most is the way Disney doesn't,t forget about the grown ups that watch thier movies. My grandchildren enjoyed this movie as much as I do. It,s a must watch!!

This film I really enjoyed. I like the retell in of the classic. Rather than having an evil "witch", they have a slighted fairie who puts accursed on a young girl, only to care for her and her heart softens and becomes good again.

Like many people I've grown up on Disney movies. I remember watching Sleeping Beauty as a child, we even have it on vhs still. So to see a different take on the same story was fun. It is said there are two sides to every story and that history is written by the victors. So to see a classic story done from the villeins perspective was enjoyable. I hope to see more movies like this in the future.

I bought this movie for my daughter and I. She has a DVD and I have a Blu-ray. We saw the movie in the theater and was quite impressed with the story line. This movie is definitely different from the Disney version of who Maleficent was.

I simply love this movie! Angelina Joie was perfect casting for a fairy, The other side of the story is always more interesting I think. The story as seen by the supposedly Evil witch makes for a much more enjoyable ride. Way to g Disney.

This was a visually captivating film with awesome special effects an scenery. The acting was well done and the music was well suited for the film. If you liked "Snow White and the Huntsman" or the "Hobbit" films you will enjoy this one.

This film was incredibly well done. A great twist on a story we've known for years. Angelina Jolie was perfect in the role of Maleficent. This was a definite must-have for the collection. And we always love getting to see deleted scenes.
