I saw some TV promos for this and so I bought it. Certainly, the star power played a part, but I do enjoy great, over the top productions and seek them out. This IS one of those. I cannot imagine a viewer who will not enjoy this film.

I took the kids to see this, I wasn't too excited at first, but I think I enjoyed it more than the kids did. Awesome special effects and an incredible story, as soon as it came out on Blu-Ray I knew I had to get it. An incredible movie!

Originally saw it in the theater with my wife, She instantly fell in love with the portrayal of the "Other side of Maleficent", Excellent actors, animation and sound! I knew she loved the movie so much it was an easy Christmas present!

If you've never watched sleeping beauty like I, then this movie is for you!! Or even if you have and want a tasteful action packed fantasy film... Then it's still for you. Jolie does an A+ job in her role and doesn't disappoint.

This movie is awesome, Angelina Jolie did such an amazing job. I think the that having the twist in the story towards the end was a very wise because even I had three different suspicions so when the ending came I was really surprised.

Disney has once again recreated their classic and transformed it into a modern fairytale. Would recommend this movie to anyone that loves a great story line with excellent CGI and superb character development. Great job Disney!!!

I love all Disney movies, cartoons to live action, and this movie is great! It's a nice retelling of Sleeping Beauty, and I love the costumes and story. I bought this edition because of the blu-ray, dvd, digital combo pack.

I thought this was a very interesting revisionist version of the Sleeping Beauty tale. The way they used specific scenes from the original Disney film and then created a whole other film by filling in the gaps was really quite clever!

I was skeptical about this movie. My wife saw it in theateres and wanted to get the blu ray. I was reluctant to watch it, however this was a great retelling of Sleeping Beauty. Very actiony, in a Disney way. Great movie for all ages.

Loved the twist from the original version of Sleeping Beauty. I felt a personal bond with the character of Maleficent in this movie, and they couldn't have picked a better actress than Angelina Jolie to play this part! It was great!!

A top notch re telling of a classic tale. Was not sure if the movie would hold up to the hype. I thought it was well done, good story twists and a whole new scope for something we have all heard a million times as a kid. Great movie.

Instead of a cartoon characters it was good with real people playing the parts.

I went to see this movie with my family expecting it to follow the Disney animated version of how she became Maleficient. I was really impressed with the movie and couldn't wait to buy it. My cousin loved it so I got her a copy too!

Awesome movie!!! Love Angela Jolie. She is such a great actress and does well portraying Malficent in this movie based off of the Sleeping Beauty. I would recommend the Blu-ray/DVD/digital copy version as the best deal for the price!

Malificent is an amazingly done story based on her point of view instead of sleeping beautys. Angelina jolie is fantastic in this movie and i would definitely reccommemd it to anyone who loves your non traditional fairy tale story :)

I was hesitant to even watch this movie with my kids because I didn't want it to be a dark version of one of my favorite classics. It kept some of my most favorite parts of the classic and created a new twist that was so much better.

This movie is amazing. Such a different version than the original fairy tale we all grew to love. I got such a great buy, It was on sale at Best buy for $19.99 plus I had a $5 off coupon so I got the Blu-ray combo pack for $15.00 :)

It was cool to watch the new version of this classic. Many have watched with us and all have enjoyed it. Some scenes may need adult supervision for little kids...when you watch it, you will understand. Definitely a must watch.

If you have not seen Maleficent you are missing out! This movie has something for everyone and Angelina Jolie is perfect as the title character. Well written, great plot twists and wonderful acting through out make this a must see.

I was expecting this movie to follow the Disney classic "Sleeping Beauty" but was totally surprised by the entire story especially the ending; it's a must see movie. I only wished that it had come out in 3D instead of just blu ray.
