Awesome movie with a great storyline, The visuals were the best I've seen in along time. This is a must have for Disney movie's. I have a 6 yrs old girl who watched it from beginning to the end. That says tons about the epic movie.

This is a great movie for the entire family! An original twist on the original movie! Beautiful costumes and sets, mind blowing special effects and a solid story with lots of character development. I would recommend this to anyone!

They did such an amazing job with this story. We all know her as the evil figure that poisons sleeping beauty. This movie explores the back story to what made her so evil.

Spoiler alert: This is the age when they are really calling evil things good, isn’t it? I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD BE ROOTING FOR THE WITCH-THING IN SLEEPING BEAUTY! Just wow!

It tells a very interesting story of how Maleficent came to be. Starting as a sweet fairy, having evil done to her by a human which then unleashed the hatred in her heart. Did she come back from it? You will have to watch to see!

A new twist on a classic story. Seen through Maleficent's eyes everything you thought you knew is looking different. Who do you believe. There is always two ways to look at any problem. I loved it, you need to decide for yourself.

This is one of those movies where after seeing it in theaters, cant wait for its dvd release, buy it and don't mind watch it over and over again. Very creative for an old fairytale and an attention grabber for adults and children.

The twist on the original Sleeping Beauty gives the story a new depth. Great special effects and music. Angelina Jolie plays the role of Maleficent well. A good retelling by Disney, but wouldn't recommend for very young children.

I went to see this movie in theaters and it was one of the movies that you have to buy the DVD as soon as it's come out! Even my four-year-old loves this movie -- she watched this movie almost every night before bedtime.

Great Disney family film with breath-taking visual effects & a solid plot. The best thing about the movie though is the performance from Angelina Jolie! She captures the character to perfection & alone is worth watching the film!

Got this for my wife for Christmas. I actually used price match with this and it was super easy. We also love the movie of course as Sleeping Beauty is one of my wife's favorite movies growing up. This one is good for all ages.

Besides Angelina Jolie being amazing, the music and sound is truly a work of art. This isn't a typical Disney movie and puts a twist on the traditional movie. You really have to see it! Amazing acting, effects, music, and story!

I only saw the second one because i heard the second one has one HELL of a third act so i hope this one is still good or not either way.

Our 4 year old girl is a huge fan of Sleeping Beauty so this movie was a must see! I was led to believe that it may be scary at some points, but it was quite the opposite. Wonderful film, definitely one of our family favorites!

Great story line, classic struggle between villan and hero, good and evil, where the good prevails. Good cinematography and effects that actually add to rather than overwhelm the story and characters. Angelina J. makes her role.

This movie is great not only for children but for the whole family! my daughters love the movie. Best buy has some good prices as well. I ordered online picked up at the store in san bernardino got great customer service as well

I saw this with my pre-teen daughters and we all enjoyed it immensely. Angelina is perfectly cast, and my favorite part is how the story humanizes Maleficent with different takes on some of the characters from the classic story.

You might've guessed by now that Maleficent is quite different from the tale we're familiar with in Disney's 1959 film Sleeping Beauty. One of Disney's most memorable villains becomes a much more complex, more human figure here.

I didn't have the highest expectations going into this movie but saw it on a whim and actually really enjoyed myself. A well done retelling of a classic tale. Along similar lines of Frozen I really enjoyed the idea that someone's greatest love isn't always a romantic love but can be equally as powerful. Great performances from both Jolie and Fanning. Definitely a fun watch!

Let me begin with I am not a big fan of Disney live action except marvel movies. But Maleficent was great I love that you get her history as well as sticking to the plot of Sleeping Beauty. This movie was done incredibly well.
