Denzel does it again, great movie from beginning to end non stop action thriller...

Great action movie. If you like either equalizer movies you will enjoy this one.

Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning are terrific in this film. It's touching to see their relationship develop from purely "it's my job to protect you" to mutual affection. He starts out by trying to keep the little girl at arm's length but gradually becomes her friend as well as her bodyguard. When things go suddenly wrong, the action begins and it does get messy (the film is rated R for language and violence and it's deserved). The plot takes a couple of unexpected twists and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The only criticism I have is the jumpy editing which gets annoying at times. Still, an excellent film that's more than just Action/Adventure.

Very good quality picture and sound and the pixels are excellent.

Movie has a few flaws yet it's enjoyable and great in its own way.

Tony Scott is often known as a simple action filmmaker, but he was really a painter with his cinematic aesthetic. This is a great film. Well thought out story with excellent character development, but it's true gift is its experimental play of image and sound. If you appreciate something different check this out. The image and sound of this bluray release does not disappoint - though sadly it does not have the extras of the DVD.

Denzel's character starts out seemingly pathetically self-absorbed with his own denigrated circumstances; however, upon closer perception, he yearns for greater depth of life's meaning. When he bumps into guardianship via a series of close friends, he develops and endures through persecution an unstoppable devotion to a more pronounced purpose for and protection of life's meaning.

This is a very good film to say the least. Had enough action to satisfy any fan, and yet the plot was very good. I really enjoyed the film,and had me hooked from start to finish. Added blood and gore in there, but brought the realistic nature of what happens to the front of the film, and even had a tear jerker ending for many people i should think. It is a must watch for anyone. Seen many reviews, slating the film, but to be fair, most the films that get bad reviews, turn out to be some of the best. this proves it once again. Rent this film, buy this film, just go out and watch this film. You will not be disappointed.

An all star cast done with great cinematography,acting & lots of action. There's also plenty of "Explicit Violence" & explosions to keep Your attention. A little far fetched as to "Reality Check"- just great Hollywood entertainment. Not for the "Faint of Heart".It's like "Death Wish" meets "Law Abiding Citizen"- & "SUPERMAN". A great "Revenge" & "You shouldn't of done that" movie.

ONE OF TONY SCOTT'S BEST MOVIES, DECENT DISC AND TRANSFER, NO SPECIAL FEATURES TO SPEAK OF. THIS MOVIE DESERVES A SPECIAL EDITION MUCH LIKE THE DVD OF 2005.

One of Tony Scott's best collaborations with Denzel Washington. Unlike Denzel's many nice guy appearances here he is much darker version of that same person that probably led to his Equalizer role. This is a gem. Great presentation of a wonderful film.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time and is severely underrated. This is by far the best movie of Denzel's forays in action films. This is still Dakota Fanning's best work to date and she honestly was robbed of an Oscar nomination for this film. She's that good. The disc is light on special features but the movie itself is a treat. Cop this today.

Tony Scott, may he RIP, was one of the most underrated filmmakers of our time. Many people knock this film strictly because of it's unique editing, but it only enhances and brings this intense story to life. Great performance from Washington, Fanning, and surprisingly Marc Anthony! Great score as well.

denzel washington at his best! I loved this movie and couldn't pass up the cheap price on the blu-ray version. Movie is great and jam packed with action once the first hour is up. What would you do to find your child's kidnapper? Denzel would go through and do anything. If you like Denzel , you'll love this movie!

M.O.F. an old fave that is a very gritty film in where revenge serves to rid MX. of some very corrupt cops as well as others that work in the abduction biz. Denzel gives a great performance as do the other players. Personal sacrifice aids Greezy in his perceived redemption as he "Paints his masterpiece"
