Enjoyed sitting in my own living room watching this movie on a high quality Blu-Ray disk. Also like having the digital version to watch so that I can easily access the movie wherever I'm at.

My wife was laughing at me as it tears rolling down my eyes. Great story with a pretty good ending. Watch it with your wife and I guarantee you that the your evening will end up traffic

If you're the kind of person who can't stomach tragic movies, definitely stay away, but if you can, you'll end up having seen something that I can only describe as deeply human. It's the kind of movie that'll hit close to home, no matter who you are, because it deals with the subject of death in a very honest fashion.

Not every problem is a nail only to be struck by a very large hammer. Life is a series of events and we must deal with them as they come. There is no magic potent for life's problems.

The movie itself is a good movie. I felt there was alot of senseless use of the F word but the storyline was great. As far as Best Buys product and service...Top Notch as always!

After some product and pricing research I decided that this was the product for me. It was easy to purchase, works as promised, easy to use and exactly what I expected. I mean what else can I say to get to required word count for my review to be complete? Best Buy is great and the products are usually as expected

This movie moves you from the start to the end. It intertwines life and reality at its core. Great performance by the main characters. Well deserved Oscar nods. A must see.

This movie of unforgettable loss and despair is well acted but persistently dark in mood and terribly sad. The lead actor Casey Affleck received an academy award for his powerful portrayal of a loving but flawed father and reluctant guardian of his nephew. His character redeems himself as a responsible adult but many lives are forever lost to an ever present sadness that is inescapable. Watch this film for the fine acting performances but don’t expect to be entertained.

Scratching out a living as a handyman in Boston, Lee Chandler (Casey Affleck) is suddenly called back to his home town on the Massachusetts coast by the death of his brother (Kyle Chandler). This loss returns him to the scene of an even greater grief, threatening to tip him over the edge for good.

The acting, writing, score, and cinematography are all excellent. Affleck and Williams are both deserving of awards for their acting here. This film is by no means uplifting, but it is powerful and an emotionally-rewarding experience. Definitely deserving of the Oscar buzz and well worth watching.

Wanted to see what all the hype was about. Great performances and I enjoyed the craft of what went into making this film. But wow, what a depressing storyline...

I enjoyed this film and its emotional weight. Very well written script. The way C. Affleck portrayed a quietly suffering and deeply hurt man with a past was well-acted. Michelle Williams is one of my favorite actresses and though a small role she did it beautifully and convincingly. Worth it.

Afflect did a fantastic job,really quite an actor. I would like to see him in something more upbeat. I was looking for a antidepressant after watching thismovie.

This movie is not for everyone. Life is full of unexpected twists and turns. But in the end you can find meaning in your life even though everything can seem bad. The main character lost his family due to a Terrible accident but he finds himself after some time with helping his nephew.

This is a movie you watch to appreciate the acting, but very slow paced and depressing. But the acting is very good, hence Casey Affleck won the Academy Award.

You will eather like this movie or you will not . It all depends on how see life...You might be done with the past but the past is never done with you.

This was a very good movie and easily the best of Casey Affleck's performances. There was a good amount of dry comedy to break up the heartbreaking moments.
