Customers are saying

Customers express satisfaction with the Compact Advanced Smart 65" Tripod's sturdiness, lightweight design, and affordability. Many appreciate its compact size, convenient for portability. However, some users point out the lack of a built-in level and find the handles somewhat awkward to use. A few also mention challenges with leg extension and panning smoothness.

This is a wonderful tripod! I've owned a few tripods in the past, all of which were a lot less expensive. This one was very worth the money! Easy to put my camera on and off, lots of adjustments for ease of use, and it is made well. Nice and sturdy, which is great since I photograph birds.

So far I really like the tripod. I’ve had it for a month now and it seems to be working well. It’s loghtweight and compact for easy storage and carry and expands and adjusts to many situations. The only concern I have is long term longevity and abuse. It seems rugged so we will wait and see. I would definitely buy another.

Excellent value. Needed something light and easy to travel with that also had height (which seemed difficult to find). This packs down and fits into my 21" carry on.

This item is heavy, but sturdy. I am sure that it will work well for my SLR setup. Hiking in to remote areas will be more difficult with the added weight, but the results will be excellent.

This tripod is great for those people who likes recording games when there is some sort of railing in front of you. It extends high enough for your to record over everything and it's sturdy enough so that there isn't a lot of shaking going on. Very good product

I have a 7 lb tripod and 2 full frame cameras. And this tripod is not the right one for those heavy cameras. But I also have 2 APS-C cameras, which is the typical starter size for an amateur who wants to use interchangeable lenses. This is light, easy to use, and easy to carry.

Bought to replace a flimsy Sunpak tripod... This thing is a BEAST .. took some getting used to ... Holds my Canon T7 with a 55-250 for long exposures using ND filters ... Very happy with this!

I bought this to replace a clunky old one I had and I am in love. Such a sleek design and I love that it’s so light weight and compact. I have I buried in my wrists and shoulders so size and weight definitely make a huge difference. Wish I’d bought it sooner!

More heavy duty than I need for my setup but a quality tripod. Definitely a study tripod for landscape, portrait and sheet photography. I have a mirrorless set up so I don’t always need this heavy of a tripod but it’s good to have.

Sturdy and has enough height for my application. Been using this as a tripod for my laser level. Only issue I have is when tightening the head, it tends to move off center. Might have to change the head in the future.

Got $20 off and needed it in an emergency, so was not looking for a high end solution. I appears light compared to other Best Buy tripods under $100 and has 2 adapters so if can shoot with camera or phone. Had no issue with DSRL. Haven’t use phone adapter yet. One thing missing is bubble level. 2 handles close together when closed. Was worried as floor sample was broken. Was sure not to stress and it worked fine. 2 handles provide camera angle adjustment and panning. Gave average quality based on breakpoint notice on floor sample.

It is just crazy how expensive tripods can get. Got this one on sale $79 down from $99. I am just starting out with photography and video so didn't want to go overboard. The tripod is very sturdy and smooth. It feels like a quality product. I am really happy with this purchase.

I recently decided I wanted to dabble in Photography. A tripod is a must for night shooting. This tripod is great for the price range but it’s not for an experienced or seasoned photographer. It’s light and compact. Easy to open and close.

Good quality overall. Stable, easy to adjust positions, quick to put on camera/video recorder. Only thing that's a bit hard to adjust is the angle tilt in vertical plane.

This is a good tripod, however I thought the head would be easier to manipulate from the start. There were certain angles I could not get. However, the tripod is sturdy and has no issues.
