It’s a little short to use as a standing camera monopod if a person is 5’7” but I have a full sized monopod for that. If sitting or kneeling I’m confident it will hold up to professional use with a large telephoto ex300-2.8.

Manfrotto - Element 59" Monopod - Red--was a best buy at Best Buy! Even though we had to explain a few times what a "monopod" is, the store employees came through, found the one we wanted and it's great. A must for anyone with a large camera lens.

High quality monopod! If you are going to be shooting a sporting event you need to be ready. This allows you to have your camera in shooting position the whole time while saving your arms from holding up the camera. Manfrotto makes quality products, this is the one you want.

I recently received a 500mm lens. I quickly realized it was too heavy to handhold to get clear pics. This monopod is perfect. It works well to stabilize my camera and lens. It’s also a nice looking monopod.

had a great idea to use this monopod but not getting the full potential so I need a hurricane style foot attachment to get more stability to hold my camera better so if you know exactly what you need this style for then it is a great monopod, light and strong.
