Monopod is a great piece of equipment, for a camera enthusiast. It is much quicker to set up than my tripod, although not as stable for long exposures.

Great monopod for the money! Manfrotto is a great brand and having it at Best Buy made it that much easier to buy! As a professional photographer, this is what I use to shoot action shots!

Paid a little extra for this but worth it. Very sturdy and does not flex like some of the less expensive ones. U could use it as a walking stick it is that sturdy.

got to shoot a soccer game from sideline. I didnt practice ahead of time so it took me a bit to adjust height. thats why I gave it 4 stars, but might have been user error on my part.

I only used once so far. I gave it 4 stars as I found it a little hard to lock in place. since its my first monopod and since I didnt practice ahead of needing to use it, there may have been user fault/error on my part.

I had been wanting a monopod for my DSLR, and I finally decided to get one. This version works well. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is there are too many twists to extend it fully.
