The ORIGINAL film that Hannibal Lecter first appeared. Eventually remade as Red Dragon this is a must-have for any true Thomas Harris or Dr. Hannibal Lecter fan!

This is a great thriller that often gets forgotten because of Anthony Hopkins' portrayal of Hannibal. It's excellent and has never looked better.

Manhunter, the first Hannibal Lecter film, is more of a forensic thriller than a psychological one. An early Michael Mann film, the film boasts strong performance, a decent script and beautiful visuals. The blu-ray is barebones and features the original theatrical cut of the film.

This came with the collectible slipcover. I was willing to pay extra to someone on eBay who was just selling the slipcover.

This is a classic 1980's crime thriller with William Petersen (from CSI) as Will Graham involving Hannibal Lecter(his first movie appearance).

This edition of Manhunter provides an alternate cut of the film as well as a slew of in-depth interviews with the cast of the film.

Lots of good bonus material (like always with Scream Factory). The extra footage in the Director's Cut isn't HD, so -1 star for that. If you aren't into bonus content, then find a cheaper release. If you are, then this is definitely the one to get!

Can't believe Manhunter didn't get the recognition or promotion that Silence Of The Lambs received. Better than Red Dragon.

Manhunter always scared me. On bluray,oh WOW! I love the quality of the picture and the experience of watching was awesome!

Manhunter is by far one of the most underrated films in the Hannibal Franchise. Michael Mann never ceases to amaze.

My Hannibal Lecter collection came with Manhunter, but it's nice to see a really sublime stand alone edition of this film!!! Loved William Peterson as Graham. Definitely worth picking up if you're a fan of the series!!
