Michael Mann alone makes this worthwhile
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This film, the work of acclaimed director Michael Mann, came out before Silence of the Lambs and stood on its own as a taut thriller as William Peterson searches for a serial killer know as the Red Dragon. Brian Cox's Hannibal Lecter is not as good as Hopkins' but there are so many other reasons to watch. Peterson is far better here than in CSI but then the character is so much better. The price was satisfying for this classic.
