This is a really fun and addicting game. It takes a minute to get used to the mechanics but it's easy enough to learn and I'm a novice gamer. The story is funny and interesting and the game play is compelling enough to hold your attention. It also has a good replay value. This is a great value for the price.

I was utterly shocked at how much fun this game is. I have always enjoyed strategy/ turn based action games like xcom. With mario/rabbids they really went with this idea and ran with it in a good way. Ubisoft payed very careful attention to minor details as im sure nintendo would not allow this game to come out without approval since its a very important IP for them. Once you play this game in person you will get that this mash up of characters works well with this genre and results in a blockbuster hit for the switch. A must by for any switch owner. I put it in the same quality as mario kart, zelda, etc..

Mario crossed with XCOM gameplay. XCOM is such a great, yet difficult, game and Mario rabbids blends that strategy gameplay without making it too much for the gamer.

My kids really like this game. It is unlike any other Mario games we have played. I like that they have to use strategy and trial and error to complete the missions.

You get a fun story and some excellent XCOM-style gameplay. Choose 2 of 7 different characters to back up Mario as he tries to save everybody from becoming rabbids!

Mario x Rabbids Kingdom Battle doesn't look like it has the makings of greatness, but its odd combination of two existing IPs with a new strategy RPG base somehow manages to succeed. Look past silly Rabbid humor and you'll find an engrossing game with solid gameplay, good performance, and many hours of fun to be had. The story is weak, but the characters are endearing and expressive enough to keep from being bland, and there's just enough momentum to keep you going from battle to battle. The biggest downside is multiplayer being local split-screen only with no local wireless or online option. If you like turn-based tactics, this game is definitely worth a second look-- it's both charming and fun.

I have never played an XCOM game before. I do not like Rabbids AT all. That being said, the gameplay for this game looked too good to pass up. I wasn't wrong, this game has exceeded my expectations. The tactical overhead style battles are a lot of fun to plan out, the worlds you play through are fun, detailed, sometimes challenging and have good puzzles. There is tons of stuff in this game for completionists that gives this game a lot of replay value. Seeing Mario and the gang use guns and other weapons is something we haven't had enough of, so I have been savoring the experience.

Epic Mario + Strategy At Last!

I have to admit, I wasn't too excited about Mario + Rabbids when just the title was first leaked. I love the Mario series and characters, but I'm indifferent to the Rabbids. Once I found out it would be a strategy title, however, I became optimistic, and boy did this game not disappoint! Ubisoft has done a wonderful job making the strategy aspect feel unique and tailored for the world of Mario, and it's quite possibly my favorite Switch title. New DLC will be rolling out in the coming months expanding the storyline and co-op mode, and I couldn't be more excited to dive back in!

This title initially left me wondering whether or not it would be worth a shot. I was very skeptical of the Rabbids inclusion in a Mario game. However, this X-Com like title is very fun--my 7 year old and 10 year old love this game and I have a blast playing with them on the Switch. A word of caution, however, the difficulty spikes pretty quickly and there is a definite learning curve for the younger players, so if you purchase this for your kids and/or grandkids, make sure that (a) they are the type of kid that won't get too frustrated with a tough game or (b) an avid gamer adult is nearby to help the kiddos through the most challenging parts. Overall, the production quality, the music, and the graphics are all phenomenal and any Mario fan should give this a try. There is also a lot of silly Rabbids humor (i.e, potty humor) throughout--I never thought that I would see Peach's castle next to a giant toilet spewing water on a Gommba's posterior-regions.... just a heads up that some might find the silly/potty humor a bit much, but my kids in particular do nothing but giggle and laugh the whole time. It's not malicious or inappropriate, it's meant to be silly, but a heads up to any parents/grand parents looking at this title. I have noticed some chop when the Switch is docked, but it's not a major issue. When in handheld mode, it runs as smooth as silk. Enjoy!

This games is very well polished and a surprising collaboration that I hope leads to future games. the gameplay is turn-based tactics and different from a typical mario. the characters and levels are goofy and graphically pleasing universal. The games is solid all around, for those who like strategy games, and i feel that the difficulty was a smooth progression with tough enemies. theres enough treasures tucked on the map between levels to keep you searching, and battles give plenty of weaponry and abilities combos. I was surprised by how much fun it is

Very impressed by the production value of the game. The animation is very well done making the game memorable (especially bosses). The game has plenty of humor about both the Rabbids and the Mario franchise. The gameplay itself starts slow as it teaches you all the rules but has quite a bit of depth. Characters have unique attributes allowing for different style approaches to each map. The graphics are bright, colorful, and lovely. There is some slow down in certain areas but doesn't deter greatly from the experience. A decent amount of post-story content.

I was a little bored the first time I played this, as the game wsa slow to start out when you are learning how to navigate and the rules for play. After playing is for a little over an hour it got a lot more interesting and difficult. I like the different strategy games that they throw at you along the way. You are also unlcoking things along the way to allow you to go back to the beginning of the game at different points and play the beginning levels a little differently. This is one of my favorite games now.

When I first heard about the crossover of Mario and Rabbids I automatically dismissed it as being a cash grab and a waste of my time. After more game play was leaked, I slowly began to get interested and then I finally decided to give it a try. The game is a surprisingly fun, with elements of Xcom/Advance Wars/Fire Emblem all together. It's a turn based strategy game that offers unique game play (such asusing teammates to get to farther or higher locations). Give it a try! It might just surprise you.
