Mario tennis is fun but this particular version has very limited playable characters. Lack of tournament mode makes it a pretty boring game

mario tennis on n64 is better than this the characters are to big and the courts to small it offers almost nothing in terms of gameplay and not many game modes either poor game

I received this as a Christmas present and I am very disappointed. I thought you would be able to swing the Wii U remote like a racquet to simulate playing tennis. Unfortunately you have to just hold the remote sideways and use the up/done/left/right controls and other buttons to play. Not exactly a tennis experience. I would not have asked for this game had I known that.

Could have been so much better ..... Very bare bones. Online stinks.

There is unequivocal fun to be had here. If you're ONLY looking for fun, you might just find yourself begging to play this game with your friends since there's really nothing else like it right now. However, if you're looking for a deeper experience, it's not here. Furthermore, it doesn't justify its price tag nor do the Wii U justice with so many missed opportunities having both a lackluster roster, and court locales being nothing more than a surface change. There's just too much to point out that doesn't justify this Mario Tennis entry as one for the books, and its older netcode hampers the online experience, reducing its longer-term play potential. Still, I can't deny I found myself smiling and laughing, and for some of you, that's all the matters.

i heard some bad buzz about this game but me and my brother love it, a fun party game

This is a great game! I am a big fan of previous Mario Tennis games! And this game does not disappoint!

Bought this for my girls and they are addicted. Highly recommend. I actually enjoy playing with them.

The controls work fine and the game functions well enough , but the game is missing lots of contents.

The game is definitely super fun. Better than the 3DS version.

Played with my friends the GC version and glad that we're all older and till excited the memories that will be awaken from playing Mario Tennis again!

Bought the Wii U package. Looked around for some games to play. We have 4 kids from 2-10 years old. Everyone can play.

This game is a great twist on tennis although my son crushes me every time we play.

After playing every mario tennis game I think this is the end for me. Every new game is just a boring rehash. The only thing good about this game is that it was the first mario tennis game in HD.
