Really enjoyed seeing this side of the man and his music.

Got this super cheap well worthy Marley documentary

Although overlong and a little thin, this is the most complete documentary of Bob Marley I have seen. Considering his lasting influence as the premiere reggae musician, it warrants recommendation on that score alone. I've seen it. I'm happy I did, but the rewatch factor is low. I'd rather put on Live at the Roxy and jam.

Though not on the level of something like Amy, this is still a good documentary.

I have always loved Marley's music. Reggae is a great sound and Marley's music has a message. This biography interviewed many different people, musicians with which he worked, family members, etc. Insight from many different people made it more of a true picture of Marley, as a man, musician, and leader of the world. Best biography by far. Irie.

Great documentary. After watching this, I felt like I knew Bob Marley personally. The story is great. His candid interviews were amazing. The people in the documentary were true to him and not actors and that was commendable. Very good work and I hope that everyone gets the opportunity to watch this.

I'm a huge fan of Bob Marley, and have seen documentaries about him before. This one was very well presented, and successfully captured the true essence of this legend. I was particularly impressed they were able to document live footage of his last days. A big thank you to his family, who allowed us the privilege of seeing his life's journey.

Highly recommended film for fans of Bob Marley or documentary cinema. Presents are nearly complete picture of the life of Robert Nesta Marley (excluding a few things for the sake of keeping the film moving along), including a lot of information and video/images never before made public.

Bob Marley is a larger than life figure and this film really helps you understand better the man behind the music. Truly a genius. The film is very well done and if you get the Best Buy exclusive version, you also get a bonus disc with some choice concert footage.

Although I am more familiar with Marley's music than his life I was happy to spend a few hours with him.

If you love the music this is a ride through the land that brought us there great Bob Marley. Through interviews with friends and family members you will see the Legendary musician as never before! A must have!!

The life and times of Jamaica's greatest reggae artist. I really enjoyed watching the reggae master at work and watching his life develop into legend status.

I'm a longtime fan of Bob Marley. Saw the movie in the theater, loved it and had to have it. Revealed much about his life that I never knew.
