This is a must have if you own any other Martin Logan products with this tweeter technology. Very strong center channel. The finish is also amazing.

I needed a center speaker so I went ahead and purchased this because it was on sale. Nothing remarkable about it. I wished I had spent a little more for a better one.

Have been listening to this ML Motion 8 for the past couple of months and it is truly a fantastic center speaker. It has a dynamic range with crystal clear highs and great vocal dialogue reproduction. I had the Def Tech procenter 1000 to start and it was very muddy in male vocal ranges. This ML has none of those issues. I wish I had a better vocabulary to describe how good this speaker is, but absent of that I'll just say that I can't find anything wrong with it, even at very loud volumes. Expensive, but for what's at BB there's no comparison. Twice the price of the ProCenter 1000, but five times the speaker. When paired with the ML Motion 4s for fronts and 2s for surround it creates an amazing soundstage. Highly recommend for someone with a discerning ear and an eye for long term investment.

We went with this speaker to anchor our surround-sound setup, and it does exactly what we want it to: carries the bulk of the sound, delivers crisp/clear audio. Our previous speakers were losing the audio in the surround sound and films could not be understood (such as Sherlock Holmes). This fixed that problem perfectly. It is far superior to my other speakers currently, but having listened to many and shopped around, this is an excellent quality speaker. At regular price, it's a good deal but nothing amazing. If you can get it on sale (like I did), then it's a great speaker for the value. It is also extremely flexible - it is designed to be used either vertically (for surrounds) or horizontally (center channel) and can be hung or set on a surface.

I bought this speaker and other Martin Logan products based on the advice of Best Buy's advisor. I was told I could return them if not satisfied. Well, it has been 8 months now and I must say I am very satisfied. The sound is crisp, loud without being overwhelming and very realistic. Two times I was fooled by the movie's telephone ringing. The first time I got up to answer the phone; the second time my wife did. It is that good.
