game play is as good as first 2 marvel ultimate alliance games...character choices to start with 9n this one are a little meh...and the game has had a couple different glitches where I cant see my characters for bad camera angles and cant change team picks despite going through menu properly...things I don't remember happening on previouabtwo installments....so overall still a good game but not quite great...some missed opportunities that could take it to the next level

If you're looking to return to some co-op multiplayer Marvel mayhem... the 3rd Marvel Ultimate Alliance is once again a great way to do this! A wide variety of characters to choose from (with more on the way) and some solid writing/voice acting (those intros are pretty hilarious)... the game keeps things going! Even if you don't have friends to play this with, you have the online option or just solo!

Kind of fun but it is largely still kind of breaking out of the shadow of the MCU so it's very focused on MCU characters but at least it has X-Men finally. I also don't really like how they got rid of the equipment from the first Ultimate Alliance, like for example if you beat Bullseye you got a trinket that increased accuracy, etc. I thought it would be so cool to have the equipment expanded on but it's the ISO-8 stupid system like in the mobile games. That's basically what it is though, a suped up mobile game. My main gripe though is the difficulty spikes and valleys that are permeated throughout this. I go for 30 minutes steamrolling over everything in sight including the bosses; then I come to a boss that kills me in pretty much 2 combos. I don't feel like difficulty spikes are really indicative of a good game. Sometimes also you get this one screen prompt explaining how to do a maneuver you will need to know how to do like three levels in the future so if you don't remember the 1/8th of a second explanation you got about it you're going to have a difficult time. I think a lot of people liked it but for me it seems like some parts came kind of out of order or something.

Linear, rather flat levels and you end up finding waves of similar enemies over and over but the diversity comes in the form of playable characters and multiple difficulties. The core gameplay is solid and was definitely engaging enough to keep me invested the whole game. The biggest drawback is the camera that—especially in co-op—frequently positions itself so the enemies of you are offscreen.

A very cool beat' em up game that you can play with the whole family. The controls aren't that hard to understand but occasionally still have trouble doing special move combos. It might be easier w/ a full control instead of a joy-con. The camera is a litte weird when playing 4 players on a single switch. Its still very fun.

Even though you would think this would be great as a couch multiplayer game it actually works better as one player. The camera is so bad it zooms out so far you can't even see your player. It also zooms in weird way that one stage as obscured by a wall and you could not see your player or the enemies. It is great if you play by yourself and in online multiplayer.

Great game with a huge roster. Most characters from previous games and animations reprise their roles (Yuri Lownethal as Spiderman, etc) great for local co-op. Synergy system takes some getting used to and boss fights can be a little tedious at times. Still great game to play with friends who like Marvel.

This game is lots of fun, especially with friends. The difficulty is a bit high for casuals, even the easy mode. There are tons of characters, which is great. The stagger and stun mechanic limits the optimal team combinations and contributes to the difficulty unfortunately. Overall though, it’s a great game and easy to recommend for purchase!

If you’re a fan of beat em ups, button mashing, skill boosting, and Marvel then this is the game right now. At times some boss battles are hard to get thru but grinding your ever expansive team thru the infinity trials to build up your stats before going back to the story will definitely help greatly!

Its a very good, fun, and simple game to play through. Unless you want to play on harder difficulties and want to unlock all the bonuses and best upgrades for characters. The AI allies are not coordinated enough to help you through the harder challenges or story mode difficulties. It is an absolute blast when playing a teaming up with friends.

Marvel's popularity has grown exponentially in the 10 years since Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 was first released, as forays into shared universes in both film and TV have propelled the company to the forefront of pop culture relevance. Previously obscure characters such as the Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain Marvel, and Black Panther have risen to prominence thanks to appearances in movies, becoming household names, while new characters like Miles Morales, Ms. Marvel, and Spider-Gwen have made their debuts in the vibrant pages of comic books. The stacked roster in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order reflects the past 10 years of Marvel's history, assembling a cast of beloved characters, both old and new, that extends its reach into almost every corner of the cosmos. The diversity of Ultimate Alliance's playable characters has always been the series' strongest aspect, and that remains true in Ultimate Alliance 3, where our favorite heroes team up for an enjoyable adventure brimming with synergized action.

A continuation of a series last released 10 years ago MUA3 continues the started. It picks up with all your favorite Marvel Characters and allows you to control up to 30 in this super hero beat em’up. The story mode has a solid story and the progression system and infinity trials will allow you to continue playing long after the story is over.
