The figures included in this edition are above average quality and worthy of display. Single player gameplay is fun with lots of short but entertaining cut-scenes between battles and opportunity to play as all the different characters as you progress. Unfortunately, multiplayer is not very active and in my experience at low ranking it takes a fairly long time to find ranked matches.

Well... I know now that it plummeted in price. But I don't care, the games is fun and these statues are amazing! No regrets!

I guess the high MSRP didn't get much attention for this... Bought this on sale for a little over $40. Statues look amazing!

Game is better now after updates. The statues are good only thing bad about the collection are the stones. They are eggs lol

Don't let the art fool you, the game is very good and lives up to the MvC line. Love the collector's figures and the steelbook as well!

Fun game. Statues are cool. Infinity stones are a bit cheap.

I bought this at a discount and it's a great deal that includes the game, four statues and a box of infinity stones.

Besides getting a steelbook for the game, it came with figurines and a case replica of the infinity stones!!!

This is one of the best collector’s sets I’ve gotten with a game. Love this game and the statues are gorgeous.

Cool game if you like INJUSTICE because this game just rips off what they were doing with their games and gives the MARVEL/CAPCOM properties the INJUSTICE treatment. If you buy this game wanting a traditional MARVEL VS CAPCOM experience you will be disappointed. The statues that come with the collectors edition are awesome.

Got this on clearance, it was way expensive normally. The statues are very well done but the infinity stones (more like eggs) look awful. Nothing like the gems in the pictures. They also can't be removed from the box. The game is also kind of meh. Without X-Men and much of the love from the previous games it just an ok fighter that gets boring quickly. The art style is pretty bad too. Luckily, I bought this for the statues so I'm happy.

The Marvel vs Capcom Special Edition is great, the 4 collector statues worth the price.

The figures are designed very well! The Infinity Stones....well, that’s another story. The LEDs pulse under each “stone” although they look more like cheap plastic Easter eggs.

Will update once I get around to playing it. I can tell you the statues are really good quality. The infinity stones are a hit or miss. They feel almost like Easter eggs.

A little disappointing and that the X-Men characters were not in, because of stupid licensing issues.

First of all, it's a good game, so there's that. As for the physical collector's edition, too many problems to recommend. As for shipping, it didn't even come in a shipping box, just exposed for all to see (dangerous during the holidays with all those "porch pirates" around). The statues are pretty good quality, but Chun Li's leg was broken off completely (a little super glue should fix it though). The infinity stones are pretty lame. They're just egg shaped rather than gem shaped, they can't be removed from the box, and the light up feature didn't even work (I tried a new set of batteries with no luck). If I hadn't gotten it on the cheap, I would have just sent it all back.
