The game is great and the storyline is awesome. There are a few glitches and issues to workout though.

Just finished the story and had a blast. Loved how they did the characters in the story and how good the combat is. Ready for new content already. Best Buy made it the easiest pickup I’ve ever done. Literally 2 minutes in and out

Excellent single player story that almost justifies the price alone. Deluxe edition is not worth it for skins unless you are a completionist. Technical issues will likely be resolved w/ next-gen release (included) however they do detract from overall game. Teammate AI is spotty, hopefully can be improved. Core game loop solid foundation, very engaging. Combo system is great. Characters have unique (gameplay) identities at higher levels.

First off I am a HUGE super hero fan. So, with that doing said this game has been on my radar every since it was first announced. I LOVE playing the game, but it does have a few flaws. Such as frame drops, stutters and pop ins. I was told there were going to be some major updates to fix these issues. As of this review I would recommend this game, but once the updates happen I will highly recommend you to atleast give this game a try.

I enjoyed the Story/Campaign for the campaign. Characters were good and story based missions were fun. Multi-player got repetitive after the main story ended. Needs patches to fix some glitches and content to break up the repetitive aspects (Luckily future content will be free to players). If those issues are addressed, people will have fun with this game!

Definitely a fun if flawed game. The graphics, soundtrack, voice acting- all top notch. Gameplay can be hit or miss, though mostly hit for me. Combat starts fairly bland but as characters level up they learn new moves. As they do, the combat gains a bit of depth. Sadly, the main campaign can be finished in 6 hours or so, leaving only constant "missions" to grind for XP or better gear and that's all.

The story is entertaining. That for me was the best part. The mutilplayer and extra crap not so much. Also hulks combat to me just sucked. Hope the dlc are good and have there own story with a good length. Other wise wont be playing it again for awhile. Not a bad game just not what i personally wqs hoping for. Story is good tho so on sale definitely get . Right now depends how much u wanna play it.

Avengers is overall a fun game. It reminds me of a more fleshed out Marvel Ultimate Alliance, exchanging the scale of the roster for more detailed skill trees. The microtransactions are somewhat ridiculously priced BUT I will say I can move past it since all the post launch character additions will be free. Story is a good, and I look forward to the post launch chapters.

Marvel’s Avengers is a fun, cinematic experience with some flaws. People sensitive to flashing lights and motion blurs should probably avoid purchasing this because along with heavy camera shaking, there are explosions, lasers and blurring everywhere. The story the game tells is enjoyable and kept me invested until it’s conclusion, but the characters have a unique look for the game. Each hero is somewhere between the MCU and the comic books. The monetization system is what holds this game back from being better. Yes it’s optional, but yes, what your character looks like also affects each person’s experience differently. The marketplace as it stands is not cheap either so skins and takedown moves being locked behind this pay well is fairly egregious even if there is a plan for continued development.

slow burn for the first few missions of the game but once it opens up and you unlock more heroes the fun really begins -Deluxe Edition- the code is for a square enix page and a SE account is required to redeem. But it unlocked all the Deluxe Edition content plus the Pre-order stuff for me as well which was a nameplate and classic costumes for each hero

Great game and story! Alot better single player campaign then i expected! A few bugs and alot of updates since the release. But overall a good way to pass the hours of the day.

After years of awaiting an official Avengers game the time has come that one has arrived, but not without its few share of issues. Pros: -Great storyline that encompasses the main cast of Avengers and allows for future expansion -Engaging combat highlighting each individual Avenger's skillset showing diversity of gameplay -Daily/Weekly/Monthly rotating missions that keeps players engaged -Free updates including new upcoming heroes with their own unique campaigns Cons: -Horrible network code leading to game drops and lagging -Major game glitches leading to uncompleted missions, unobtained loot, game crashes, or restarting the mission entirely Though the game released and is fun at first, there are major improvements that needs to be addressed and worked on until the game can be enjoyable to play for extended periods. For now, short play sessions are highly recommended.

The game is great, while the story is short, it has so much more fun to offer with online. The game very basic nothing new, but it's so much fun to finally get a well enough game where you can play as your favorite avenger. I honestly can't wait for the spider-man, Kate bishop and black panther dlc in the future.

Fun game with new twist on story. It does tend to be a grind getting all the characters to where you want them but otherwise fun to play.

it was a good game, quick little story, the multiplayer is a work in progress but could see it develop much more into something awesome

I played a bit of the game and I have to say I’m enjoying it so far. With all the negative reviews I’m still gonna finish up the game and try Multiplayer a bit. I think this game has so potential but after awhile with all the new updates it’ll be the game it was meant to be.
