A great standalone story, completely separate from the MCU. Each character plays just different t enough that you feel as though you're playing new game. The only con would be that the levels end up becoming quite repetitive. A great experience nonetheless

Gaming has become a blend of cinematic and pop culture trend almost all families are on the bandwagon now and this game is a just sit and watch someone else play or grab the DualShock and hop into the avengers action incredible so real like watching a movie and so entertaining to addictivly want to keep playing to see what happens next I bought it on day one 9/4 and had no time made time on 9/20 and was worth every penny thanks square enix and Bestbuy retail

Think Destiny, but in the Marvel universe. As a big fan of all things Marvel, I love this game. And can see myself spending a lot of time playing this game. Every hero has a different feel to them which is very refreshing. However, my only gripe with this game is that after the story campaign, the missions can get repetitive. I think future DLC can help change that.

This game has a lot of potential despite its rocky release. A lot of the bugs are fixed, and the combat is excellent. The content is getting better as time goes by, and there's a lot to look forward to this year. Fingers crossed

Awesome game play and great story. This game is super fun and can’t wait for spiderman to join next year.

Wasn't really expecting much going into it but it has a great story mode and great multi-player missions

So far, the game has been great! My only concern was the fact that they are trying to add in a new character when Spider-Man isn't even in it, but i've heard that we can expect Spider-Man to make an apperance in 2021. So, that makes me happy. Other than that, the graphics are crazy good and you get a chance to fight as every character. 10/10 in my book but i'm just a beginner gamer but an all time Marvel lover.

First off, I bought this game for my 14 year old son who is a huge gamer and a huge Marvel fan so he is very happy with this game. He is definitely biased. From what I have seen I’m not too happy with this. Very linear. This wouldn’t have been a big deal a console generation ago, but pretty disappointing now. Also, playing the different heroes doesn’t feel different, if you know what I mean. You don’t really have to think or play differently as the Hulk as any other character. I can’t help but wonder how another studio like Platinum Games would have done with this property. Nothing sticks out, nothing excites. It just is. I’m hoping it will improve with the dlc that is promised as Square Enid has claimed this will be a “living game.”

I didn't have high expectations for this game leading up to it's release so I was pretty surprised at how much fun the game is and how good the Single Player story is. Each avenger feels unique enough to accommodate different play styles. I'm a little over halfway through the campaign but can tell not a whole lot of thought was put into the mission structure and variety. It's a "Games as a Service" type of videogame and that's my biggest con. It's extremely repetitive. All of the Heroes have a Season Pass style progression system that awards Nameplates, Skins, In-Game Currency, Emotes, etc. with Daily/Weekly Missions that grant exp. All marketplace items that can be purchased with real money is cosmetic. I was expecting skins with at least the level of viriety of the Ultimate Alliance games, but that's not the case. Most are the same design just is different color schemes. The loot system is okay (nothing cosmetic, only stat boosting) but can feel a little pointless at times. Some pieces of gear have perks that grant extra buffs and increase base stats, but I never really felt the effects since any hit from an enemy causes your Hero to flinch. Performance on the PS4 Pro has been great. I haven't experienced any serious frame rate drops and the game looks fantastic. Especially the Avengers character models. I experience dips in performance when there are 4 Avengers on screen performing various effects heavy moves. The sound effects are great. Iron Man's repulsor blasts sound great and the Unibeam sounds amazing. Thor's hammer sounds awesome when attacking enemies. Hulk's Thunderclap sounds powerful. Overall it's a fun game. Especially with friends. I wish Square Enix had developed it into a more Single Player focused game that displayed each Heroes strengths. Similar to what Transformers: Fall of Cybertron did. I hope time and future DLC makes this into a better game.

The story line is short but worth it. I love the side mission and the online play

avengers game must i say more?? Great gameplay as well as visual graphics are very nice. The characters you play with throughout the game makes the game fun and entertaining especially for a marvel fan. The storyline the game follows keeps you on the edge of your seat. Great game for all ages and a must have for any one who enjoys marvel, comic book heroes or a great storyline.

This game has a great story and awesome graphics. I enjoy the camera mechanics.

The game is really fun, but I do wish there were more iconic bosses. It plays heavy on waves of enemies and fighting Abomination and Taskmaster over and over. I am sure the DLCs will add a lot of substance

They have a good thing going for it, but the game was rushed to meet street date so we are looking at another Destiny 2 situation. Still a great game, and the devs are hard at work with lots of fixes.

Is it perfect? No. But the single player story is fun and engaging. There are some major bugs that are being patched. Worth the purchase, if you want a Marvel themed Destiny/Anthem/Division style game.

The game is much better than I expected it to be. After playing various comic book adaptations over the years of different properties from DC comics to marvel comics, this is definitely a faithful iteration and the gameplay is on point. The attention to detail definitely corrects what was seen in the original trailer almost 2 years ago. I highly recommend this game.

Awesome game! Graphics are amazing and story mode keeps it interesting.

I havent finished the game yet but so far it has been pretty good. Although there are a couple lulls in the campaign that take you out of the action of the game. Overall, a fun experience so far

This game was great despite it being repetitive! Story line was pretty good too. Hopefully they can innovate in the next Avenger's game. Steelbook was a great gain for sure!

Some bugs at launch, but overall a fantastic original story with great voice acting from top to bottom. Excited to see where they take this with free updates and characters in the future.
