Overall this is a great superhero game from the story, down to the graphics and gameplay. Only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars is it gets a little repetitive.

was initially skeptical about picking up this game, but after trying out the beta rounds before release I was sold. This game is pretty solid. The storyline is very good so far and as an added bonus the PS4 version includes the exclusive access to Spiderman. Gameplay is solid and controls are easy and responsive. Graphics are nice as well. It's a good beat em up rpg that has elements of similar games like the Batman arkham series and spiderman as well. Looking forward to playing this for a while especially as new characters become available in the future.

For the price now it’s a great game. Shame that support ended and no longer available digitally. Great game with friends that are Marvel fans. If you want this now you’ll have to use the disc.

Solid game, but the level scaling is a little ridiculous. If you use a level 50 character, expect to face at least level 59 enemies. The graphics are amazing and the campaign keeps you interested by mixing humor and drama so it feels like a movie. The downside is once again, a marvel game forgot Hulk has durability. He takes more damage than anyone else so far in the game. At level 50, he almost got one shotted by a rock while black widow only took a little damage from a mini boss laser beam.

I have played a couple of hours of this game since release date. The story seems pretty good so far and it reminds me a lot fo spiderman just a tad bit diffrent. It is not very open world although the graphics and backgroud are great it is more of a closed world. This game reminds me more of the uncharted franchise. Overall I would give this fame 4 out of 5 stars becuase while the story and graphics are great I dont think the combat is great it seems more of a single player game.

First off graphics are very nice! Playing on a pro with a 4K oled hdr tv and it looks great! Gameplay is fun so far, I’m playing the campaign and it as fun. Online could get repetitive but comon, don’t most online games get repetitive? Especially a game like Call of Duty which scores high every year! So don’t let the negative reviews fool you. My only gripe is playing as Ms Marvel, but once you start unlocking the other characters in the story, it becomes much better!

This game is actually good. With all the pre release advertisement, and the bad pre release voice overs, i thought its no way it would be good, but I forgot to cancel my pre order. Playing it, OMG, graphics and gameplay is great, and the voices fit everyone. The story starts off BS but after 20 mins in gets really good. I cant believe this, (their advertising company should be fired) this game is great,,,,, and im a skeptic, so this i a really big statement for me.

It’s a lot of fun at the price I got it ($29.99), and it seems like the developers are committed to making more content, which is free. The gameplay is very sharp, and engaging, and the graphics look great on my PS4 Slim. Overall, I would recommend if you enjoy the Avengers, loot based games, and assassins creed-like games

This game is really fun with a group of friends for the multiplayer aspect. A lot of grinding for gear pieces that don’t really change much, just the levels of your character. The story mode was really good, better than I expected. I gave the game 3/5 just cause of the repetition of levels and missions. It does get boring after a while.

Story was fun to play and I loved M.O.D.O.K as the villain, though it was over pretty quick and some parts get repetitive. But it seems like the devs are actually listening and trying their best to improve the game and fix the bugs. They should've pushed this game back a little more but overall story is pretty fun. Expect future updates and free dlc characters and missions later on.

A so-so multiplayer games with a very well done single player campaign. It has quite a few bugs but with the promise of more characters this looks to be a value that will grow as it gets updated with bug fixes and new missions. The story is focused on Ms. Marvel, which may (needlessly) turn off some purists. However she's a delight and hopefully won't turn away too many.

Well, can't go wrong with a 5 year old. He found a couple of bugs where the character actually couldn't move on until he reset to the last save but otherwise this has been a great game. If my grandson could be Hulk the entire time he would much prefer that but he still has fun. Even on easy it's a tad difficult at times. Graphics and characters are super cool.

I didn't get the hate for the game when it came out, I wanted to try it after it went on a good discount, and I loved the game, while some parts of it may be repetitive, I think it is a really fun game for any age and it will get even better when the expansion of Black Panther arrives. At the price it is now give it a try if you haven't already, and take your time with the game, the main campaign is 12-15 hours long and had more fun playing it regularly instead of rushing the campaign in one day.

I really enjoyed the campaign. I think the game has a true Marvel comics inspired campaign that took around 10 hours to complete and feels like watching a movie at some points. The voice actors picked for the game really bring out the story. The controls are decent and most of the characters have similar moves so switching between feels seamless but still different enough that I want to play as them all. Some bugs here and there and some missions take a while to load, even when you enter the missing in the beginning but once it gets going, it’s great. The post game, I only just entered. It’s the Avengers Initiative and is a multiplayer gear based post run with new mission chains and rewards. And although it is multiplayer, you can play it by yourself without the need for PS Plus, as least so far I can, I’m maybe 3 hours in the post game. It does feel like a grind at sometimes and really reminds me of a combination of 2 games glued together, one very similar to uncharted’s story elements and the other very much like Destiny. All in all, I see much potential for this game to be a 5 star game as they work out the kinks from release and start releasing the future content. But for now, I leave it with a 4 star rating.

I loved the story of this game. The multiplayer matchmaking needs some help. There is also still some bugs that need some work. The side missions are cool too. I also enjoy making all of the heroes stronger after every mission I do. The collectibles are pretty cool to find because some of them are actual comics. Not a bad game.

Very happy with the story this game tells, and does a great job offering it's own take on these characters. Ms. Marvel is the best. Some argue that the multiplayer is repetitive but I find switching characters between missions and exploring their different movesets helps avoids that. Looking forward the the future content.

Let me begin by saying Marvel's Avengers is visually very impressive. The characters look and all fight like their MCU and comic book counterparts. The story is pretty decent but the game does not always let you choose who you want to be. The online mode is a repetitive and glitchy mess. You can count on regular game crashes. Despite its glitches, you fight the same robots over and over again and do the same exact missions over and over again. For a Marvel game, you would this think game would have memorable Marvel villains. Nope. You get Abomination and the end boss. In an era where we have amazing super hero games like The Arkham series, Spider-man, and even Marvel Ultimate Alliance, this game is by far on par to being one of the most boring super hero games of all time. This definitely falls on the same list as games such as Superman 64, Xmen on the NES, and the countless of terrible Batman games that came out prior to the Arkham games. This game isnt just bad. Its horrible. You will fall asleep in the middle of the game. It is not worth $20 and by the time it reaches that price, just MAYBE it will be an actual playable video game. What a HUGE disappointment for Square Enix. Star Rating since Best Buy doesnt give half stars. 0.5/5

This game is very similar to Destiny. If you have ever played that game you know what you are in for. The graphics are great, gameplay needs some getting used to but works, unfortunately there are still some bugs that need to be worked out. Overall it is a good not excellent game.

The game offers a good story and skill tree for each character which makes them feel unique. The game does suffer from several bugs that includes that prevents players from leveling up. I haven't had this issue but I know people that have. Outside of the bugs it isn't as bad.

This is a fun and suprisingly deep game. I dont usually loot games like this but the action is fun and the campaign story is good. I am enjoying it now for what it is, but i havent done a ton of multiplayer yet. Even if that is not good, the campaign is worth a playthough
