Marvel Midnight Suns legendary edition is nicely setup game and awesome display of characters colorful.

Gameplay is soooo good!! The roster is great too pulling a significantly well rounded selections. The story is great! People have criticized the voice acting and conversation branches. While exposition can go long every couple missions it is perfectly fine and a fun story. Must have for a marvel fan, comic books not mcu. And real time strategy battles are endlessly creative and challenging

I really like this game. It is turn based, it is card based and it has really SLOW parts between battles but the story is good, it has deep cut Marvel Characters (Magik from the X-Men, Nico from the Runnaways) along with some more "popular" folks. The card battle I didn't think was going to work for me, however it is really fun. I don't think everyone will love this but if turn based and card based combat resonate with you, it is a fun game. I had Marvel SNAP and Hearthstone vibes but with the added character movement on the "gameboard" and positioning, etc.

Don’t let the card based combat scare you off, this is a solid game if you’re into strategy, turn based RPGs. This game checks off so many specific boxes for me that it just works. Turn based combat, challenging, recognizable and new party members, a social hub to get to know those party members, and a murky morality system. The only reason I wouldn’t give it a 5 is because the voice acting is hit or miss, the story is predictable and the graphics are meh. But if you want a solid strategy game where you beat up faceless hydra goons and then play video games with Spider-Man or go for a walk with Blade? This is the game for you. And if you can, get the season pass bundle on sale, the dlc characters are a nice addition, can’t wait for the final one.

Playstation had a free demo weeked with the game free to play. I had seen it had gotten really good reviews, but a card strategy game isn't something that generally interest me. The store and out of battle stuff made it interesting enough that I decided to drop a few bucks and buy it, great decision on my part. The extra characters that the legendary edition adds are well worth the extra cost.

Played Xcom? Like RPG, RTS or strategy games? This filled the void left by x cmon. Its addicting, has a great story and all the little things will keep you going back for more. Buy the version w/ the season pass, Deadpool and venom are worth it

Before I write my review I just want to clarify that I am still not done with the game. But after 50+ hours I feel like I have to write something about this game. I have never been a fan of the XCOM or Persona type of games because it requires too much strategy and say-so. I've always liked my hack and slash or beat em up titles and that's what I wanted out of a Marvel game. But after playing this? I'm hooked! First of all, I love the role playing elements in building a relationship with the other heroes. They always have interesting and fun conversations, especially those with Iron Man or even Doctor Strange. Secondly, the gameplay is really addicting. It is challenging but that's what I love about it. Once I got a hand of the mechanics and how to eliminate more enemies I upped the difficulty each time. I am currently on ultimate II and I feel like this is the absolute peak for me because going beyond that was too much. But for others looking to challenge themselves they would definitely love this. And lastly, the story is original as you play an original character named "Hunter". And I really love the dynamic between the Avengers and the Midnight Suns. Overall, I give this game a perfect score because it blew me away. This is my most unexpected game of the year along with Gotham Knights. If you love strategy with role play elements with Marvel characters, this is the game for you.

This is easily one of the greatest superhero games ever made. Fantastic writing, a fascinating storyline and oh-so-satisfying combat all come together to let you live your Marvel Super Hero dream.

Was hesitant about buying this game because it is a card game, but right from the get go i found myself enjoying the gameplay, the characters, and the story.

Very fun card strategy type game with Marvel superheroes. There is a lot of different heroes to play with that greatly synergize with others. You can only have a squad of 4 heroes including the character you play as known as the hunter. The story is alright, not great, with the writing being at most times cringy. (Blade talks to you about not liking vampire movies :P) But if you mostly focus on the gameplay, you'll have a great addicting time.

Yeah it’s a turn based card game, but it still fun. Sure there are boring unskippable sections to it along the way, but overall it’s a great time.

This game is amazing and hard. Wish they did more for the graphics but it's all good. Lots of cool looking skins. Not a broken game on launch like most now-a-days. If you love Marvel and all that lore jazz. This game is almost like a RPG marvel game. Regardless it's awesome. Plus on opening day I got the last Legendary PS5 copy(it was like all gone everywhere else). Lucky me, go best buy!

This game flew under the radar for so many, and that's too bad. Excellent game! I'm not a fan of relationship building in games, but loved it in this one. Lots of dry humor which I love. Personally loved the gameplay too! Combat was really fun and never got boring. Highly recommended for any turn-based strategy fans!

I love turn based games but this is a very simplistic game. Art style is fine, but I’m not a huge fan of how cartoony it is. The story is just there to barely keep you engaged and keep playing to see the real Marvel characters.

I love this game. The turn based card combat is lots of fun and the social element of befriending the other characters and discovering the abbey's mysterious is very rewarding. The graphics are okay at best, at least while not in combat. But the gameplay is why I keep playing.

Love this game, if you like Marvel and tactical games this is a must have. The story and character interactions are also amazing!

The good: Actual gameplay is great. Love the tactics style play and the card system is an interesting caveat. I hope they reuse the system for future games. The bad: all the side quests and so forth at the Abbey seemed pointless and I think the game would have been better without it. The ugly: The story was kind of mess and a little cliche. Overall it was worth one play through and I think it laid the groundwork for some good things in the future

Tried this game with its card based system only because i enjoy super heroes. The graphics are really good, and response is snappy for player moves.

Really fun game if you like turn based combat, fun building relationships with the heros on the roster and theres so many compinations. Had alot of fun
