At age seventy-three, I consider myself a lifelong lover of all kinds of music, an audiophile. Back in the 50's I got started by building Hi Fidelity record players for family and friends. Was mesmerized by the faint glimmer of light from the vacuum tubes radiating out of the scores of ventilation holes, I drilled on the sides of my home made fabrications, to dissipate the heat. The 45's, 78's, and 33 1/3 LP's would spin while reverberating out then, the new-age music, 'Rock 'N Roll'. Those were the days - Loved every minute of it. It was during the 50's and 60's while assembling record players and sound amps for mics and speakers that I learned the 'Gold Standard' of superb audio – extraordinary sound reproduction and playback is only possible using the finest components available. Professional musicians, sound engineers, and people, who appreciate all the nuances of surround and high-octane sound agree. Today, I use a high-end A/V Receiver as the centerpiece of my home audio system. This component allows me to connect all my sound and video devices, 4K TV, smart phones, tablet, PC, Blueray player, and even older legacy devices too, like my 'old timey' record player – still love playing the vinyl. When an opportunity presented itself for me to review the Master & Dynamic, MW60 Wireless, Headphones, in exchange for a comprehensive and honest review, I was thrilled. Nothing against Bluetooth technology folks, but high-end headphones, which allow both, Bluetooth and 'wired' input, like the Master & Dynamic, MW60 is my 'Cup-Of-Tea'. When the package arrived I was immediately impressed by the great care taken to insure the headphones would NOT be damaged in shipment. The arrived in a foamed and scalloped inner enclosure, the exact shape of the headphones, inside of a heavy, outer shell box. Neatly packaged in the box was the following: the MW60 headphones, canvas carrying pouch for the headphones, canvas cord case, sturdy leather cable box, 1.25m standard audio cable (approximately 4' and 1” in length), micro USB charging cable (approximately 38” long), and a 3.5 to 6.3mm gold-plated adapter, 'Quick-Start Guide, and impressive 'User Manual', in seven different languages, that contains many helpful, graphic illustrations, and detailed operations. Just picking up the headphones in my hands I knew these were 'quality-built'. The look and feel of the materials in the design, engineering, and construction of these headphones is 'over-the-top'. My first impression was that these headphones were designed to be as professional-grade as possible. Durable stainless steel hinges and extensions for adjustment, lightweight aluminum housings for the speakers and antenna, long-lasting superior, grain leather-wrapped headband, and the luxurious, foam-wrapped, magnetized, lambskin ear pads, which can be easily removed for cleaning or entirely replaced. The total weight of the headphones is approximately three-quarters of a pound or 345 grams. Additionally, the SS hinges allow me to wear the headband either on the top of my head, or, at the back of my neck, whichever I prefer at the time. It just doesn't get any more professional then this, folks. These headphones are built to enjoy and last for many years. WooHoo! The main power controls are located on the Left-side ear pad. The ear pads are engraved on the SS hinges as to 'R', right side and 'L', left side. Since I am left-handed, the position of the main controls is ideal for me. However, it should work extremely well for either left or right handed people. The main control is a three positioned switch. The Middle position is 'ON'; the bottom, red-dot position is 'OFF', and the Bluetooth position is self-explanatory. Pairing is simple and it only took me thirty seconds to accomplish with my Bluetooth Receiver. I was also able to pair my I-Phone as the unit allows the pairing of two separate Bluetooth devices at the same time. You can simply 'toggle' back and forth between the two inputs by pausing one device remotely, in order to play the other. Just above the power switch are two LED indicators, which one will glow red on low battery, orange on medium battery, and green on full battery. A fully charged battery will last approximately sixteen hours. Also on the Left side ear pad is my favorite jack, the 3.5mm, wired audio jack. This is the one I use pretty much most (all) of the time. In my humble opinion after many years of listening and appreciating great sound playback, hard-wired connections provide me with more encompassing, realistic, surround sound detail then any other link to include the greatly improved Bluetooth featured in these amazing headphones. I simply plug the 3.5mm audio jack into my A/V Receiver's corresponding outlet, which allows me inputs from seven different audio sources through the Receiver's switches in addition to digital radio and TV sound broadcasts. But, what is most important to me is the 3.5mm, wired connection provides me with impeccable, and almost flawless audio playback to these outstanding, dynamic headphones. The myriad, complexity of the detailed audio using the wired connection is so comprehensive and enveloping it completely fulfills the mission the sound engineers of Master & Dynamic set out to do with the MW60 headphones. This is why the Master & Dynamic, MW60 Headphones are so well designed and excellent. They provide you with the best of both worlds, hard-wired and Bluetooth connections. They knew people like me (and you) would enjoy these professional-grade headphones to their fullest. YooHoo! It is also noteworthy to mention that when you utilize the 3.5mm connections your headphone internal power source shuts down as the 3.5mm source provides the power and input to these fantastic headphones. Another great feature is that when your internal battery-source power is shut down, 'passive-audio-isolation-by-design' is engaged. These terrific headphones do not have 'Noise-Cancellation' electronics feature. They utilize a more user-friendly passive, noise isolation instead of electronic signal 'clutter', which you may perceive as noise cancellation. Trust me and other audiophiles, passive noise isolation is far superior to degrading, signal-manipulating, noise cancellation. Do your research. The Right side ear pad has three functional buttons. A plus and minus button for individual volume control and a multi-functional button (MFB) in the middle. Plus (+) button serves as 'forward' and Minus (-) serves as 'previous' track buttons while depressing each for two seconds. The MFB button is used to serve as a Play/Pause button, and, answer and end phone call button. Additionally, the MFB can be used to ignore a call or use your digital assistant for voice dial. On my I-Phone Siri worked well with this feature. The USB charging port is also located on the very bottom of the Right side ear pad. Any 'active' USB port will charge these headphones, however, I used my I-Phone plug and, it charged them in just over an hour. Now, regarding the sound playback. In my opinion for contemporary music, modern day, easy-listening, rhythm & blues, country, jazz, or rock, etc. the Bluetooth connection does a spectacular job. If you have a Receiver or any other kind of 'input' device that has an EQ you can pump up the bass, treble, or mid ranges, to your particular liking and this baby will take it. Even if you don't have an input access that has an EQ, the absolute crispness, clarity, and robust warmth and richness of music will convince you that these are the best headphones you can buy and will enjoy for years. These headphones come with a two year warranty, which is good at any retailer you purchase them from. If you are a music geek like I am the Master & Dynamic MW60 Wireless Headphones are the closest thing you are going to get to Professional-Grade perfection in sound playback. Using the 3.5mm audio cable takes me to another world, where realistic, lifelike sounds envelop my ears and tantalizes my listening pleasures for total and complete relaxation and gratification. Playing my vinyl records has never been more pleasurable to listen too – so realistic and true to their original recording. I love these headphones. Because of their exquisite design these headphones are super comfortable to wear and the luxurious, lambskin padding provides a soft cushion delight for your ears. If you only connect to Bluetooth you can move around within limits – over-the-ear headphones are meant for you to be quietly relaxed and emotionally tuned in to your listening venue. I wholeheartedly recommend these spectacular headphones. They would make a great gift for that special grad, special couple, Fathers' Day, Birthday, Anniversary, etc. With all my years of experience in music build, appreciation, and reproduction – Master & Dynamic MW60 Headphones are as close to flawless playback as you can get and well worth the price point.

My past experience with Bluetooth headphones was telling me that Bluetooth connection can't provide a good sound, until I tried these headphones. Sound is absolutely stunning, crystal clear, even tiniest nuances of music are easy to hear. Listening to the live performances (for example Acustica by Scorpions) and I could hear the crowd like I was there. There is no difference between wireless or wired connection finally! Bass is a bit on a weak side to my taste though. Headphones are well built, ear pads are covered with the very soft leather and easy to remove. Inside of the head band is covered with the same soft leather as the ear pads. I do love the fact that Master Dynamic included a soft carrying pouch for the headphones and all cables, they even included a 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter so you could easily connect to any source. A few not so good things: First is that headphones even extended all the way - barely fit on my head and push against the ears a little bit more than I would like them to. Second - rattle in both headphones. When I turn my head left to right and back - I could hear a small rattle on both sides, like a loose screw or something. Tried contacting customer support asking about it but did not get any feedback. So I decided to see what is going on and opened them, as you can see on the photo - small studs that connect the left and right acoustic enclosures to the headband are kept in place by C-clips, these C-clips are loose and rattle when I turn my head, that happens on both sides so it does not appear to be a defect of this exact pair. Rattle is not significant and I could not hear it while listening to the music, but still leaves a bad taste. Third - bluetooth pairing. When you turn the headphones on - they would connect to the last 2 devices you paired them with. Bluetooth range is amazing - they picking up my computer upstairs when I go downstairs. However, let's say I'm listening downstairs using my phone - headphones will attempt to connect to my computer upstairs and sometimes that gets in the way of listening interrupting the music. There is no way except factory resetting the headphones or turning bluetooth off on the computer to stop this! Other brands have mobile app that shows all paired devices, unfortunately these headphones do not. You don't know what they just paired to - you could only hear a "blip" sound indicating they connected to something. Fourth - battery live is really good, 14 hours of listening - not a problem! 300mAh battery is located in the right acoustic enclosure. However there is no way to tell the actual charge percentage. You can only look at the LED indicator which could be green, amber or red (full, medium or low battery respectively), but no percentage. Overall - a very good headphones, amazingly clear sound and seamless bluetooth connection which is as good as a wire. Definitely worth a try! But a few design problems such as rattling C-clips and pairing leave a few things to improve on. Nearly perfect premium wireless headphones

I received this product in exchange for a review. I’m a casual audio listener. I most frequently use headphones at work to help drown out the busy sounds of an open office plan and focus. While I mostly sit at a desk while listening to music, I find it to be a much more convenient experience to have wired headphones. So, when I received this headphones to review, I was excited to give them a try. Starting with the construction, they are very well made. With abundant use machined aluminum and leather, these headphones give off a very premium feel. The ear cups and leather band around the top make them very comfortable to wear. The included cables and adapter are very well made as well. The buttons and switches on the headphones are solid and easy to feel and activate while on head. The leather ear cups are attached to the headphones with magnets, so they can be removed for cleaning. Every once in a while, I found myself inadvertently removing one of the earpieces when putting on or removing the headphones, so they could probably stand for slightly stronger magnets in that regard. However, there is probably a tradeoff with magnets next to the drivers, so I understand if they made a choice here. As for accessories, the MW60 comes with a round leather case for the cables and audio jack adapter. It’s very well made and looks very nice. In addition to that hard case, Master and Dynamic included a canvas pouch for travel for the same cables and a canvas carrying case. While it seems to be well made, I was a little surprised by that mistake. I’ve seen hard cases with less expensive headphones, so it would have been nice for a pair of headphones in this price range to come with a hard case. For fitting in the case, the MW60 folds up neatly at a hinge between the leather and metal parts of the band to collapse to a move convenient size. For listening quality, these headphones perform very well. I spent a week or so testing these out at work connected to my phone via Bluetooth and was happy with the performance. I would occasionally notice the audio cut out for a split second, but it was very brief and infrequent. I found a website (http://www.audiocheck.net/soundtests_headphones.php) with a series of audio clips to test out different aspects of listening quality. I think the MW60 performed well on most of the tests provided. I did test out the headphones in both wired and wireless mode and noticed a few differences. On the frequency response test (played a series of tones from 10 Hz to 200 Hz with voiceover), I noticed the lower end of the frequency range better when wired. I also noticed a very slight improvement on the dynamic range test (difference between loudest and quietest sound you can hear) when wired. I could clearly hear the test between a 72 and 78 DB difference in sound. I’m sure it’s to be expected that wired can provide a better experience, so that’s probably not surprising. The battery life seems to match the promised range of around 16 hours between charge. I wasn’t able to rigorously test that claim, but the initial charge lasted most of a week of daily use before needing to be recharged. For extending the battery life, the headphones seem to shut off when not playing any audio for a certain period of time. There is an audible click when that happens, but its probably better to save battery life. I struggled for a while as to whether to give these headphones 4 or 5 stars. The MW60 is a very nice set of headphones. The audio quality and craftsmanship are evident qualities. However, there are a few things that could be improved. As I mentioned above, it would be nice if a $500+ set of headphones came with more than a canvas carrying case. Maybe it’s a testament to the sturdy construction of the headphones, but it would have been a nice touch. Additionally, there is a periodic audio cutout on Blutetooth when paired with my iPhone 7 Plus. While writing this review, I paired the headphones with my nearly 5 year old MacBook Pro. I noticed the audio cut out several times a song to the point where it was becoming a bit annoying. For a device that markets itself as having a great antenna, it was a bit disappointing. I would be willing to write that off as being the fault of my laptop if I hadn’t noticed or remembered any issues with my phone as well. Finally, for the price, it would have been nice to include noise cancelling. The primary reason I wear headphones at work is to reduce distraction, and noise cancelling would be a killer feature for these headphones. I know they don’t advertise these as having active noise cancellation, but for high-end headphones, the exclusion is noticeable. So with that in mind, I feel inclined to give these 4 stars. If there were half star ratings, I’d probably bump them up to a 4.5/5. I don’t mean for this last paragraph to detract too much from the overall review. I would probably recommend that others give these headphones a try if looking for a good pair of wireless headphones.

    Classy Look With Transcendent Sound

Everything about these screams quality and perfection. From the quality machined metal parts to the premium cowhide headband and lambskin ear pieces to the cloth covered cords and canvas cases, the look and feel of quality is in every component. There is also a round leather covered box to keep the cables in if you desire. Even the box they come in is classy and very durable. As for the sound, Everything from Classical Symphony to AC/DC with a stop in the country genre is what I used to put these thru the paces and they didn't fail me anywhere. Every note in every range of all the music was crisp and clear as well as excellent quality on all vocalization. No disruption or breakup of the bluetooth signal even when I walked into two adjacent rooms and the signal had to go through two walls, the sounds remained impeckable. I have claimed these at my house for me at our house and I'll be very selective of letting anyone who is not old enough to appreciate such a fine article near them. We also have a pair of Bose Noise Canceling Headphones and in the respect of noise cancellation, the Master and Dynamic set equal or exceed the Bose. These are a pricy selection, but it will be money well spent if you appreciate music and want to own a set of headphones you will be proud to own and show off.

MW60 Master & Dynamic Informational Card Quick Start Guide Leather Storage Box 2.00m Standard Audio Cable USB Charging Cable 3.5 / 6.3mm Gold-Plated Adapter Protective Carrying Case for MW60 Protective Carrying Case for Cables User Manual Setup/Testing/Conclusion I first have to say that Master & Dynamic put a lot of work into the MW60; even the packaging is superb! Initial impression of the box on the outside is pretty standard… But as soon as you remove that “skin” and take out the black box; oh man! The material and craftsmanship that they put into the packaging deserves a 10 out of 10 from me. I am a box guy so I know when a box is nice or not. My spouse and I got to experience the MW60 straight out of the box and we both agree that these are the best headphones we have ever used hands down. The build quality of the MW60 is extremely nice. At first I thought these headphones were pretty heavy in my hand. But guess what? As soon as you put them on your head they are extremely comfortable and well balanced that you don’t even feel like it's heavy. The buttons are well placed and are very simple to use; pretty straightforward I’d say. The materials of cowhide, lambskin, and metals on this thing are a great combination; Master & Dynamic did an amazing job. When I first put the headphone over my ears I thought they were going to be narrow because I have big ears (so as my wife… don’t tell her I said that though!). After placing them on my ears, I can safely say that it's definitely not an issue; having big ears for the MW60 that is. I would also like to mention that I wear glasses and a lot of headphones get sort of uncomfortable. When wearing glasses with headphones, it typically feels like your head is being squeezed. I definitely did not experience this “squeezing” effect with the MW60. I enjoy that even when I remove one side and only have the MW60 partially on my head; it's still comfortable! Basically what I am trying to say is… It's comfortable. Now to the sound quality… WOW! The sound quality is crisp and rich; extremely RICH! The vocals are clear. There’s a clear distinction between vocals and music; no “bleeding” effect here. The distance on the MW60 are also excellent. I had the pleasure of testing them around the house while leaving my cell phone in one area of my home. I never lost quality nor did I experience any sound skipping like you would typically get from traditional Bluetooth devices. This must be the antennas that MW60 use. If you have the chance to see the headphone in person; you’ll notice the antennas on the left ear piece. You’ll be able to notice it as it looks relatively similar to the one on the back of an iPhone (that's of course if you actually have seen the back of an iPhone, typically on the bottom). The antenna that the MW60 has does an amazing job and I am able to close doors and still hear clear music (no skipping) even though my phone is through a good 3-4 dry walls and 2-3 closed doors. I also had the opportunity of testing the microphone quality and its pretty good. The only thing I heard “bad” about it is that I sounded kind of far. But the sound that I was projecting from my voice was clear and beautiful! With all this great sound, Master & Dynamic states that the MW60 will last you approximately 16 hours. To the accessories! Lets just first say that a good amount of time and cost has been put into the accessories. The cables included are nicely braided and have nice connectors. You essentially get 2 carrying cases; 1 for your MW60 and 1 for your cables. I like the fact that Master and Dynamic provided 2 carrying cases. The Sony’s that I have only come with 1 carrying case and I’m always afraid of scratching/damaging the headphone. The carrying cases are made of canvas. Although they are lightweight, they seem pretty durable. The only con/gripe that I have is that I wish the MW60 carrying case had a hard outer shell instead. If you’re an individual that is going to dish out the cost to buy something amazing like this; I would be extremely cautious of not damaging it. The ear cushions are extremely easy to change out or take off to clean. They are basically held by a magnet. These ear cushions are some high quality lambskin wrapped bad boys. They are comfortable and do everything they’re supposed to do without hurting you in any way, shape, or form. In conclusion… Would I recommend these headphones? YES! Absolutely. As I mentioned, I’ve tested several headphones and the MW60 by Master & Dynamic currently takes the cake. Everything from the build quality down to the sound quality is amazing. Basically; the MW60 is both beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. If you’re on the search currently for a new headphone, give the Master & Dynamic MW60 a shot; you won’t be disappointed.

Master and Dynamic MW60 Packaging was good, very nicely thought out, comes with a carrying case, and a round container to keep charging and pass through cords in. The MW60 is a quality piece. Everything exudes quality, from the memory foam ear pieces that are magnetic for easy replacement to the cowhide wrapped head band. These headphones can be worn for hours without hurting your ears from pinching them down like many other headphones. These are the over the ear pieces and are very comfortable. I tested this unit on android and IOS devices, as well as PC and none of them disappointed. The sound level can get very loud but not ear piercing loud. Loud enough to do damage after time I’m sure but I loved to turn it up and lay back and listen to very clear, quality sound. (There is a beeping tone when you have reach the upper limit of volume.) I heard notes and cords I hadn’t hear before with my previous cheap set I had. The treble, mid tones and bass all complement each other for outstanding sound. Set up is easy just hold the button on the Bluetooth for a few seconds and scan your device for them. Connects in a flash and you are ready to go. These will also allow you to pick up incoming calls by hitting the MBR symbol and MBR again to hang up. Upon testing a few times I was able to get them to work with no issues. To access your voice assistant OK GOOGLE/SIRI and the ability to ignore a call simply by holding down the MBR button for 2 seconds. I was also able to get the ignore call to work easily on an incoming call. Voice assistance worked as well, but I was unable to get back to the music without pulling out my phone and manually starting it again. The + and - buttons act as Volume up and down as well as skipping to next and start from beginning. My set was shipped with almost a full charge so I started using them right away. Long lasting battery, fairly quick charging. No need to worry about firmware updates as these phones will update themselves when you are connected to the internet. Great for any occasion, I love to use mine while kicking back outside or mowing. I would recommend the MW60's to any Audiophile I know.

Oh my goodness... With how much these Master and Dynamic MV60 wireless over-ear headphones cost, I expected quality. But not like this, from the packaging, which was incredibly detailed, to the quality of lambskin on the ear defenders. The leather is so soft and comfortable on your head for numerous hours. These ear defenders actually attach with rare earth magnets, so they will stay put, but are easy to take off for cleaning. The construction of Stainless Steel and Aluminum makes them feel durable, and look incredible. I have not used them for a full 16 hours yet, but that is what the specifications boast they should be able to obtain. They did not forget to include a microphone for when a must answer call comes in while you're listening to what your heart desires. The detail the expressed in the design of the tactile controls is appreciated. I don't have to be gentle with my gorilla hands when switching things about. They are crisp and responsive and are actually well placed with large enough footprints that they are easy to find. I embrace the fact that they come with a case, so that when they are not in use they have a layer of protection. The sound quality of these headphones is top notch. With a frequency range from 5-25000 hertz, I was afraid they might loose a little bit of range that I would notice. Another set of headphones I have from a major competitor's frequency range is 4-40000 hertz, even with that being said, these MV60's still produce an almost perfect blend of highs and lows for my ears anyways. The only feature these are missing, is noise cancelling. I could see where that could be useful when traveling, to be able to listen in on your surroundings or block them out completely. But with that being said, there are plenty of other head sets that offer such features. These are incredible, a bit pricey, but for my audiophile friends, these are a must for your wireless listening. These get a 5 out 5 stars. From design, to materials and to the excellent sound quality.

Wireless Over-Ear Headphones with Warm, Rich Sound

Recently I had a small collection of headphones. Being that I'm hard of hearing, I have always been on the lookout for a great set of sound cans. My problem is once I find a good pair I quickly learn my style of music doesn't play as well as I would like though them. I listen to all sorts of different types of music from grunge, classical, rock, hip-hop, and music scores. Being that it's such a wide variety, my headphone collection seems to keep growing. I have a pair for this and that but nothing that really takes the cake for all purposes. Master & Dynamic has been making sound devices since 2014 and they have carefully crafted some of my favorite headphones over the years. The one problem with them is that they never really put out an over-ear headphone that was wireless that I would enjoy wearing until now. The MW60 has changed that as they have some of the best, crisp sound that I've heard and they work for all music genres. I despise wired headphones as I can't seem to keep the wire out of everything I'm doing. Needless to say, I was very excited at the opportunity to check out the MW60s. At first glance, I was very impressed with the quality of the build. When you pull them from the box, you know that you are holding sophistication at its best. Being over-ear headphones, they cut out a lot of noise from the area you're in but they are by no means designed for noise canceling headphones. That's not a complaint. I just wanted anyone looking at these to know that while they isolate pretty well, they don't cancel out noise. You can still get some ambient noise bleed through, but it's not a distracting amount. Noise canceling aside, the MW60's will be my everyday headphones and have found a permanent place on my desk. With the long battery life and the superior comfort they provide, these are behind amazing for all day use. These are definitely my premium headphones that I'm proud to display when not using them. The only complaint I do have is the Canvas Headphone Pouch that comes with the MW60s. I feel that such a premium set of headphones deserves a premium case to match it. While it's very well made, I think that the canvas pouch doesn't fit the luxury of the MW60s. I would have preferred that a hard case is provided or made available as an add-on for these headphones. I had a hard time storing the headphones in the pouch without feeling as though I might damage the leather. Because I love these headphones so much I plan on picking up a hardshell case. The MW60 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones are a beautiful example of what wireless headphones should be. They are sophistication in form and function. You won't find better headphones in the same class as the MW60s.

I got my silver-brown MW60 and took them out of their box earlier today. I plugged them up to charge right away and the charge light went green within just a few minutes. Then I paired them with my phone and commenced to put them through a trial of my favorite music from a wide array of genres, from classical to metal. The fit, comfort, and sound are impressively immersive and balanced across genres -- and what a fantastic feel and build quality! And despite being solid and compact they're very comfortable to wear and much less bulky than I expected them to be for an over-the-ear design. I like that the MW60s support Bluetooth and that may well be how I end up using them most of each day but I am also pleased they included an audio cable for wired connections, and a 1/4" adapter when needed. This is great because now I can use the MW60s with my phone casually, conveniently, and wirelessly; but I am also a musician and can keep right on using them with the cable and adapter to connect to my keyboard when I'm making my own music. It's a small trick but a nice touch and one that helps the MW60 play a role as a legitimately flexible companion and tool in my audio world. Color me an impressed and proud new fan of M&D.

Master & Dynamic bluetooth wireless headphones very clean, comfortable and well Built. I own 2 other bluetooth headphones Beats and sony both of them are the high end headphones. I will say these are the most expensive one's i own. The quality of these don't compare to the 2 others that i own. These are made with real metal and leather the feel is not like a fake plastic feeling you don't hear the plastic cracking. The sound on the MW60 is clean and clear there isn't an over powering sound from the bass or treble they are a well balanced sounding headphone. I am very impressed with them. There is no app to pair it with so you can't change the sound quality but there is no need for it they sound great. The ear cups are very soft and fit nice over the ears. I don't fell any pressure on my head from these you would think they would be heavy made out of metal but they are not at all. They stay on my head when walking around and moving my head around. Nice feature is the ear cups come off to clean or replace if something happens to them. The controls on the side are very easy to use and not confusing. Charging the is with a micro usb cable comes with audio jack to plug in. It does come with a case to keep your wires in that is leather. This does connect very easy to your device. The only bad thing about these is your paying so much for them and you get a case that is cloth and close with a zipper. It is nice that it comes with a case but for the price of these when i travel i would like a hard case to protect these better. Bluetooth Headphones With Great Build Quality

The Good Things About This Master & Dynamic MW60 These Master & Dynamic M60 Bluetooth headphones are made with really nice components, there are no cheap plastic parts that will break easily. The controls are all aluminum buttons that have a really nice quality feel, the play/pause button and the volume up and down buttons have a really satisfying click that is very easy to tell when the buttons have been pressed. The volume buttons can be pressed and held for a second to skip forward or back a song, because of being designed this way, it is not possible to press and hold the volume buttons to increase or decrease the volume faster, and it necessary to press the volume buttons repeatedly to achieve the desired volume. It is really nice to have removable ear pads, so that if the leather starts to crack or gets damaged, then it will be easy to buy replacement ear pads. Also the ear pads are magnetically held in place and can be quickly removed and washed or wiped clean. The Bluetooth antennae is built into the aluminum border of the left earphone, it has the same look as the antennae lines on an iPhone or a Google Pixel. When the headphones extend in length there are markers that can be counted so that each side can be adjusted to the same length. As with most expensive items these days this product has really nice packaging and this always adds a nice luxury feel to the overall product. This pair of Bluetooth headphones has a really good quality sound. Other Details About This Master & Dynamic MW60 The braided cables that are supplied are pretty good, but are not quite of the same premium quality as the headphones. Braided USB cables are not really my favorite, the braided fabric tends to snag on things with pointy edges. The strips of Velcro that is supplied and wraps around the audio and micro USB cables actually snags the braided fabric and it pulls up strands of the fabric, the braided style of cables are more of a hassle than anything. I prefer the vinyl or rubber on most USB cables. The main complaint about the micro USB cable is that the connection on the micro side is of mediocre quality and is a bit difficult to plug into the headphones. Even after a session of attempting to wear in the connector by plugging it in and out many times, this did not loosen up the connection much, the supplied braided micro USB cable still has an unpreferrable stiffness when it is plugged in. Then I tried to plug in a trusty micro USB cable that came with my Samsung smartphone and that micro USB cable plugs in smooth and much easier. I would suggest charging your Master and Dynamic M60 with a better quality micro USB cable that is already worn in, so that it does not stress the micro USB connection on the headphones. I often use my Bluetooth headphones to connect to my Windows desktop computer for audio during movie playback, and I have found that some Bluetooth devices pair better with my smartphones, than they do with the Bluetooth on my desktop PC. These Master & Dynamic M60 Bluetooth headphones have less than optimal pairing with my desktop pc, which has a fairly new version of Bluetooth built into the Wi-Fi card. I finally got these Bluetooth headphones connected, but it took many attempts at pairing before the headphones would even appear on the list as a device that could be connected. Once the Bluetooth connection was paired with my desktop pc, future connections were easy. The overall size of this pair of headphone seems kind of small, each side can extend so that these Bluetooth headphones will fit a bigger head, but the ear pads themselves seem a bit small, and I am a bit skeptical that these would comfortably fit a person with a big head. Especially if a person had bigger than normal ears, I doubt big ears would easily fit inside the ear pads. Holding these headphones in the hand, it kind of seems like surely the manufacturer might have two sizes of this same product, a medium size for normal size heads, which would be this product, and then a larger size for people with larger heads. The following is my experience based upon having declining health and less than optimal blood flow to the head. As with most over the ear headphones, in my opinion these headphones have a bit too much pressure on the head. I am a 5 foot 9 inch guy who is 150 lbs, and have an average head for my body size, and I cannot wear these headphones for extended periods because of the pressure from the headphones starts to reduce the blood flow in the head a bit. This situation might likely not be an issue for a healthier person with better blood flow. The exact weight of this item is 12.09 ounces. Overall Impression Of These Bluetooth Headphones This is definitely a well built paid of Bluetooth headphones with above average sound quality. I am rating this item at 3.5 out of 5 stars based upon the overall build quality combined with the value for the selling price. If the price were a little lower, then I would rate this product nearer to a 4.4 out of 5 stars.

Master and Dynamic Wireless Over-Ear Headphones Model # MW60 are an amazing engineering & design accomplishment! LIKES: 1- The audio CLARITY is the most prominent feature. Be sure your audio source is accurate. Just to prove this, I listened to songs ripped with a low sample rate. It sounded muddy and flat. Analog music & digital tunes encoded with Apple Lossless transport you to live concert realism. 2- APPEARANCE is stunning! Only the finest materials are used: Stainless Steel, premium cowhide on headband outer surface and ear cup accents, soft lambskin on headband insides and ear pads. They are beautiful and feel so soft on your head! 3- The headphones fold, using precision Stainless Steel hinges for easy storage. This offers both convenience and extreme durability. The outer box, shown in my 2 pictures, is handy to store them folded. 4- Extended Bluetooth range is achieved due to using an aluminum, exposed antenna. Bluetooth 4.1 with Aptx is used to achieve a premium quality audio connection. The result is sound quality with greater Signal to Noise Ratio & extended frequency response than was possible with earlier Bluetooth generations. 5- Slide switch with LED indicators make On/Off & Bluetooth Connect positive & repeatable. No typical push & hold switch, where if you hold it too long, it forgets your connection. The slide switch is positive & repeatable. Slides with precision feel. 6- Convertible - For precision listening, plug them in with the included cable & adaptor. For handsfree listening, simply switch on Bluetooth! Your choice of active or passive headphones, all in one. 7- The battery lasted over 30 minutes longer than the rated 16 hours! 8- Charging is a simple plug-in by any USB power supply - a super flexible, yet strong cable is included. 9- An insanely over-designed leather pouch is included to hold the Bluetooth cable, audio cable & adaptor. These cables are amazing, too! They are strong, yet amazingly flexible! See the leather pouch in my photo. 10- WOW Factor! Just one look at the machined Stainless Steel surfaces on the outside of each ear piece, the gorgeous lambskin & leather & you know these headphones mean business! DISLIKES: 1- The only possible Dislike I could consider was the weight of these headphones. They are heavy to pick up. Yet, on your head, they DO NOT feel heavy! The width & super soft lambskin of the headband & earcups spread the weight. This extreme weight distribution by design, engineering & luxurious material selection effectively negates this possible dislike. CONCLUSION: Master and Dynamic Wireless Over-Ear Headphones Model # MW60 deliver EAR ECSTASY!

    Most Impressive I've Ever Had

I would like to start off that I have owned quite a few of the higher end headphones, to include Bowers and Wilkins P7 and the PX, Sony MX1000, and if you concider them to be, even a few Bose headphones. The MW60 headphones are quite literally in a league all on their own, they are not ANC (active noice canceling) headphones. So why is it these are $550 for something with less features. The answer is simple once you've heard them: The sound. When I broke these things open and powered them on, I grabbed my phoned paired them to my phone, and to be quite honest, was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the were good, but better than my MX1000s? Not by much. Not an extra $300 anyway. So I left the on overnight, playing music fairly loudly, hoping to break them in, something that high end headphones need sometimes. Also to give them the benifit of the doubt, I plugged them into a high end DAC through my computer. BAM! I could tell immediately from there that these things were special. After hours and hours of listening to various genres of music, from contemporary folk, to chillstep, savoring every last second, I wondered if they would still sound as good through Bluetooth again. And they did. I don't know if it was just with my headset, but 8 hours of music will get these things warmed up to sound like nothing you've heard before. The sound signers ture of these headphones is, I'm not sure how to describe it. Normally I can say that these headphones are tuned more for bass, or a pure flat signerature or too tinny, or what have you. These literally just make whatever you listen to sound absolutely perfect. If your listening to acoustic, it is extremely lifelike, if your listening to electronic, the bass is extremely tight and punchy but doesn't drown everything else out. These just make it sound like your there, floating in the setting of your music. Which is a truly awesome feeling, and even though I think $550 might sound like a rediculous amout of money to ask for headphones, these things justify it with an out of this world experience. Not to mention that they are light and feel great, and I even accidentally fell asleep with them on and woke up with them still feeling great.

Fantastic head phones! They stay charged FOREVER! I had them fully charged and used them for an hour on average 6 times a week and did not need to charge them again for a month! The only complaints I have is when doing certain exercises they tend to slide off my head a little so I have to adjust them a few times.

I purchased these as a Christmas gift for my dad who is a musician, and he loves them! My dad has very picky ears, so we both went back and forth trying out all the top-rated options, and these won out for their superior quality materials used and clean dynamic sound! He also uses them for extended periods and while they are a heavier weight than other headphones we tried they do not hurt his ears.

They sound great. They fit large heads poorly. They tend to not grip the head well. Slight movements cause them to start slipping. As this price point, I expect more comfort.

This headphone uses great material, it has real metal real leather (sheep skin for the ear cups and cow skin for the band). This headphone is more neutral compare to the MH40. When the instrument plays on the MH40 it sounds very vivid and close compare to the MW60. The Bluetooth connections is good I don't have disconnecting issue like other reviews. I used this headphone mostly in hotels and airplane. One minor issue I have on this headphone is that no one mention in review about the microphone. The microphone is not the worst compare to other headphones I have. But people can not hear you well with this microphone unless you scream at it. The other thing I'm not a big fan of is the price, for $550 is a bit heavy IMO. If you like a more neutral sound but still has a bit of color this headphone will be good for you.

These headphones are incredible! They feel super luxurious, fit perfectly, and sound incredible even with plain iPhone BT input! I have also run through a Fiios amp with the 3.5mm connection and they sound so good. Add to that they’re foldable, charge quickly, and Master & Dynamic’s incredible customer service and you have a winning headset! You won’t be disappointed! Oh, and this review is after an initial quality issue exchange AND over TWO YEARS of use later and I’m still pumped on them!! I even picked up the MW07 in ear from them, you seriously can’t go wrong with Master & Dynamic!
