Got this as a Mother's Day gift! My Mom absolutely adores Downton Abbey! Pretty good price, and came quickly enough!

This show is apparently the equivalent of visual crack. My wife and daughter love it. I don't understand why. It makes reading the newspaper seem like riding a rollercoaster. I tried sitting through one of my wife's benders on this show and I actually chuckled at one of the dry remarks and felt so dirty I had to go shower. Despite my feelings on it, it must be a good show, since my wife somehow got my daughter and mother-in-law hooked on it.

Recently purchased season 1 and 2 in early August for my wife primarily as a birthday gift, but also in preparation for the hours of football I will be watching in the fall. She has made me watch it as my mother's side of the family is English, therefore per my wife, I must like it. It reminds me of the 4 stations my grandparents would get on their TV. There was always some drab British show on!

Not as good as Season One, and I still don't quite understand what these people do for a living.

I, quite simply, am slightly obsessed with this series! The acting, costumes, settings, oh just everything! If you like historical or period dramas, start with season 1 & go from there; I promise you will not be disappointed, bored, or sorry. Next purchase is season 4!

This was an excellent purchase. The story line is one that will keep you hating some of the characters and loving others. The period that this was set in is one that I would like to have been in. It is very informative as to the way of life back in that time period.

Getting to know the many characters of Downton Abbey is a lot of fun, and our family is looking forward to watching every season eventually. The disk set is nicely produced and easy to navigate.

I missed the first of espisodes of downton abbey. This is a great way to catch up and find out who is who. Very nice that the back episodes of this series can be bought . Also...good quality dvds..

I have just started to watch this series. I have an app the converts movies/TV shows to iPod compatible so I can download so this is great to take this series with me and not just watch at home.

I borrowed the DVD from my mom and my dog found it then she chewed the thing to bits. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bought it. Not that I didn't like it but I didn't really intend to own it.

I have enjoyed Downton Abbey Seasons one and two and have purchase Seasons three and four. I recommend Downton Abbey to everyone who enjoys England in the 1912 to 1924 era.

More wonderful than I expected. We could not wait for the next season to come!

Everyone should watch Downton Abbey. It's the greatest thing to come from across the pond since Shakespeare and Captain John Smith. This show is what TV was made for.

Once you have seen the 1st Season you clammer for the 2nd Season of all the series. Wonderfully filmed in the U.K. with amazing actors, great plot.

I love this show. Hadn't watched it when it first aired but everyone kept talking about it so I watched the first show and I was hooked.

I got tired of waiting for the DVD's on Netflix. Season 2 was very popular, I guess. Decided to buy it and use reward certificates. Great deal!

I didn't think I was going to really like this series thought it was going to be a soap opera but it's not that at all

My wife enjoys watching these videos with her invalid mother, who struggles to speak but clearly enjoys them too.

Downton Abbey DVD of season 2 allowed me to see the shows at a marathon setting. I am now redy for season 3 in order to catch up.

Wonderful series, I wish Best Buy carried all the seasons, I was only able to purchase season one and two
