I watched the animated series on Netflix well before this movie was announced. I was really interested in it from day one. Steel was perfect and the backstory and plot were extremely good for a series to motion picture adaptation. The liberties they took outside of the original series made sense and helped the story. Max's suit when he merdged with steel looked really rubbery and not like armor. Now the main villain's suit looked awesome but seemed cumbersome and restrictive. The elementor and final fight left a lot to be desired even for a younger audience. It's hit or miss in each category but still not a bad adaptation and a good movie for the younger crowd to enjoy. I would still recommend watching the animated series over the movie.

Little slow in couple spots but a good family type movie.

Me and my grandson watch this twice in a row. It's very interesting and have some good action very exciting. Watch this movie with your famly and get a bag of popcorn and a candy bar and a drink lay back and enjoy.

This fun science adventure film follows the transformation of teen "Max McGrath" & his alien friend "Steel" into the superhero known as "Max Steel". Full of laughs and fun, this movie will take you on an epic adventure

Great clean movie for kids that like Max Steel. We enjoyed watching it as a family. Humor was spot on and the storyline was well written. Critics didn't know what they were talking about. Hope a second one comes out.

Good movie a must see. Good for a rainy cold night.
