My 5 sons love the suspense and thrilling action of this great dog hero movie. My 10 year olds were a bit nervous during the dog chase but after knowing max was ok, they've watched it more times without being nervous. It's a great movie!!

Took my daughter to see this movie when it came out in theaters. It was so good that I wanted my son and husband to see it, so I bought it when it came out on video. It's the kind of movie that gives you warm fuzzy feelings at the end. Must see!

This film was well made and had a good storyline. It wasn't exactly a feel good film because of the tragedy and loss and hard decisions but it was redemptive and uplifting by eventually bringing good out of the bad. My grandkids loved it!

I have a service dog organization and this movie really hit home. Being a vet with a service dog, I could relate a bit to this. The movie is really the best one I've ever seen with this type of story. Get the Kleenex handy when you watch it.

We really enjoyed watching this toughing movie. We are retired Army and this was a great movie to remind us of how much are troops and families go through. It showed there are good people and bad in our world. Great family movie.

Such a great story of a family and a Dog. Plus the struggle between a son and his Father and the respect that is needed and given when things are done right. More of a family film for teenagers but a great film ask the way around.

The story takes you through the healing process of a family whose eldest son is killed in war. The healing comes through the family's getting to know the dead son's bomb sniffing dog who is turned over to the family to take care of.

Great family movie whether you are a dog lover or not. This movie showed the bond between a dog and it's owner and how it helped heal a family during a tragedy. It's a movie for the whole family to watch. Not a boring moment.

I really enjoyed this movie. Shows you how attached dogs can get to their humans and also how combat really affects dogs just as much as humans and they too can suffer from post tramatic stress disorder. Great story line.

This is a very nice movie. We have 3 dogs in our home and are affectionate pet owners. This movie left a smile in our hearts. Good movie to show children that pets can return affection and are very loyal family members.

My son loves dogs and loved this movie in the theater. It was at the top of his list for Christmas and we were happy to find it when shopping in the store for other items. Always appreciate places for one stop shopping.

This is a VERY under-rated movie that is both touching and excitieing. One of the movies that WB delivered on despite it not doing well at the box office; I would say it's the Air Bud movie of 2016. Love it!

In10000% love Max's story this true story so gripping and heart breaking, and memorable and amazing you will never ever forget this story. Well worth buying! Great movie, tear jerker for sure! LOL!

I love how not only does this movie protraied a family's grief of a soldier whom died in the line of duty. But how it affects the AWD whom he handled and how the k9 was affected by the loss. Great family movie.

My 7 year old son and I went to see this in theatres and we were deeply touched by this film. A feel good movie for those military families, dog lovers, or those who just want to see a great drama movie!

I thought this was going to be a "childish" show before watching it. But I was pleasantly surprised. I would call it a family movie. The plot was solid, the writing was good, and it had plenty of action.

Good storyline and family friendly movie. The entire family can enjoy this story. A hard to reach young teen meets a grief stricken marine work-dog and what ensues is pure fun and heartwarming to watch.

I like dog stories but this had something extra. Max is a military K-9 that is adopted by the family of his slain handler and if you want to find out more I say get the movie. Just remember the tissue.

Movie very good and entertaining. Great family movie for children and adults. Shows the importance of dogs in war and what they can do and the loyalty of the dogs and their handlers to each other.
