I confess. This movie is not for everyone, but this still kicks major tail! Directed by Stephen King, killer soundtrack by AC/DC, cheesy acting and total carnage. My rating reflects the Blu Ray. The movie is tough to reccomend because of how insane of a product it gets, but this blu ray release is top notch. Each featurette goes into a great detail on the making of the movie (I reccomend looking at the interview with the special effects make up guy. He goes into detail over the stuff the MPAA forced to remove), the audio commentaries are enjoyable and a little informative, and full of vintage promos. If this is as good of a release we are going to get, I say up right buy it! Perfect for home theater systems who want "Who Made Who" to blast on the speakers.

A classic movie lost in time that has come back remastered and with a great soundtrack.

Max more than drive-in 4K how can you pass it up...

Kick it into overdrive with this Stephen King classic! I haven't watched this film since it was on TV back in the 80's. A fun flick with some gory scenes and just wild action. Great for any movie night!

I bought to upgrade the dvd, but honestly, I don't see much improvement. Maybe that was the best it could be.

Thanks to Vestron , great movies like this that might be lost to the 80s and live on. The Soundtrack is great, I remember as a kid watching this over and over having recorded it on VHS from HBO or on TBS LOL ... yes there used to be more to tv than NETFLIX and Ondemand.

this is one of those classic movies that you got to think outside the box and said what if it was real. the movies about eighteen wheeler trucks going off the deep in and killing peoples. What cause it was a comic passing earth atmosphere

Love the movie Stephen King makes great books and it’s awsome that his books come to life on the screen as a movie cause we get too see all the gore and scary ness we get too enjoy I would recommend this movie too everyone!!

I waited for this movie to be releaseed on Blu-Ray for sometime now, I’ve had the DVD. And my personal opinion it was worth waiting for. Video is fabulous and the audio, especially with the soundtrack from AC/DC is superb!

I've always liked this movie. I guess it's a guilty pleasure of a sort. It's just fun and quirky. You got to love it for what it is. Simple low brow entertainment. It gets the job done. The quality of the blu ray is okay, they could have paid a little more attention to the detail, but it is serviceable.

Vestron Video has really been kicking butt on their releases, it's a shame there aren't more titles in their catalog. I would love to see The Descent get this treatment.

Finally Maximum Overdrive gets a Blu-ray release and Vestron Video Colletor's Series did a great job on an underrated movie. Written for the screen and directed by Stephen King himself. Check it out!!!!

must have worn my Video cassette of this film out when I was younger and can now do it with this great blu ray. fun film, and amazing soundtrack.

This film is what my mind goes to when they talk about the eighties or Stephen King. Its a thrill ride from beginning to end. The title says it all Maximum Overdrive.

Finally, this one comes to the U.S. on blu-ray. I was fortunate enough that mine included the OOP slipcover. Very highly recommended.

Well it 's about time - this is a long awaited blu ray disc of the classic Steven King film. Excellent copy with a whole lot of extras. Excellent price. Recmended

Great release from vestron video. Just like there previous titles, lots of extras and great picture quality and good sound. Worth having for a horror collector!

Ive watched this movie so many times since i was little! Im so glad its finally on blu-ray! & the special features are amazing! So many documentaries!
