    Currently waiting on parts from the repair company. Stopped working after a couple of weeks. No power at all.

    I chose this Maytag because I needed a new microwave. My LG basically fried! The salesman said the microwaves above the range are the same size. Not true! This was huge above my stove! It looked ridiculous! The installer also attached it sticking out 1/4" more on one side! I researched new microwaves including depth and got one that fits!

    Bought for a Christmas present! When opened it was smashed in! Best Buy only had a 30 day return policy on this microwave! So couldn’t return! So basically I wouldn’t recommend buying appliances from here!

    When we bought this the knowledgeable (joke) staff did not inform us that we needed side piece. We still are waiting on a microwave. I must say that if you cannot give correct advice why would we buy from you and not go to Amazon. This will probably be the last purchase from you. Check our records we have bought a lot from you in 20 years

    COVID 19 but a 45 minute wait!!

    Incorrect item was entered. I ordered a black microwave, but I received stainless steel. I tried calling the store at least 6 times and had to wait at least 45 minutes for someone to answer the phone! Unacceptable!!

    We have received 2 damages microwaves from Best Buy. Needless to say we will not be ordering another microwave or kitchen appliance from Best Buy again

    Just bought this microwave and it’s great. Love the features my other one didn’t have. My kids love this one the features are much easier to use and the food comes out great. Talked my son into buying one to.

    I would like to give it zero stars! We purchased what we thought was top-of-the-line when we remodeled our kitchen. Saw the 10 year warranty sticker. Thought Maytag was supposed to be a high-end company with good customer service. All incorrect and lies. The customer service, and Maytag kept me on the line for 10 minutes before somebody would even answer. Their own line help couldn’t recognize me or my model number. After speaking with someone for about 30 minutes, the bottom line was even though they sent me a new part last year that I had to pay to have put on, the Magnatron, it has gone out again just eight months later. They’re saying once it’s verified that it’s the same trying again. Hello this just happened eight months ago the identical thing. They’re telling me that they will send me a new Magnatron but I will have to pay for having it put in. Seriously eight months ago I paid to have the magnetron put in and they require me paying for a diagnosis fee on top of the installation. Is this the worst customer service you’ve ever heard of. They’re right up there with Samsung refrigerators that have actual Facebook and Instagram groups about how horrible they are!!! I’ll never buy another Maytag or Samsung appliance

    Poor product and poor customer sevice.

    Bought this microwave 5 years ago and it DIED after 2-1/2 -3 years. Every function worked EXCEPT for its main function of actually heating the food. It produced ZERO capacity to heat anything. Maytag stated that they only covered the part and would require me to pay $200- $250 to have a repairman come out 2x to evaluate and then repair the microwave. Even after all of that, there was no way to tell that the warranteed part they replaced was the actual problem until it was taken all apart. If it was not that part, I would have to pay additionally for a nonwarranteed part and installation. They refused to work with me whatsoever so there it sits as a very bulky over the range light fixture and vent ( which was not properly installed either). It is currently being outperformed by a 20 y.o. GE countertop microwave. I will never buy another Maytag product as long as I live!

    Planned obsolescence product.

    I had 2 of these, it breaks in 1.5 years. Make sure you buy the extended warranty. I really like the design but I think Maytag now practice planned obsolescence where their products are designed to break so you end up buying again.

    Maytag not heating

    Liked the way the microwave looked. Very disappointed that it did not cook or heat properly. Tried another Maytag with the same results. Changed to another brand ( Whirlpool works great).
