So quiet! Dishes are super clean and spotless! Racks easily handle a full load. Super nice! My only concern is accidentally bumping the controls while doing other tasks. They are very sensitive.

This dishwasher has been great. I have thrown I rinsed dishes to try and see how dirty dishes could be going in and every time they have come out clean. I like the traditional drying element so dishes are mostly dry when entire cycle is done. Last dishwasher just had the door release and air circulation to dry them. So after cycle they were mostly wet.

In my 40 plus years of marriage I can't remember ever purchasing a appliance that performed as well as this Maytag dishwasher. It's super quiet, gets the dishes really clean and is easy to operate. Now understand these words are my wife's, NOT mine. I'm not allowed to operate or touch the machine. But I can speak about the self-installation and removal of the old dishwasher. That experience went very well. Took about 1-1/2 hours to disconnect and install new dishwasher. Highly recommend this make and model.

If you need a dw to clean plates and utensils, this is a top notch unit and it looks good (I do like the stainless steel finish). However, I have found the dish rack to be very aggravating to use for anything beyond plates and utensils. It is hard to put in anything else including cereal bowls, prep bowls, serving bowls, baking dishes, etc. and get them to stack upright instead of falling over and taking up lots of space. I can't figure out who came up with this design for the rack, my 15 yo dw I replaced had better rack space. In my need to get a new dw, I neglected to study the rack thoroughly. For the DIYers, the installation manual has all the details for installing (requires very thorough reading to save trips to the hardware store), but you will need to buy at least a couple of extra items. This was my first time to install a dw, but I eventually got it all in. I would have really liked this unit if I could put in dishes differently.

Quiet great wash lots of space for large dishes and pots.

This budget friendly model out performed my much more expensive Samsung that I had to replace after getting 2 motors replaced I gave up on it. Went with this model it’s so quiet you don’t even know it’s on dry great. I waited a while before I wrote this review it’s held up great.

The Maytag dishwasher does a great job cleaning the dishes. There are two drawbacks, however, the silverware is difficult to get the silverware into with the lid down. It doesn’t quite fit into the slots. In addition I have to lick the dishwasher when I’m not using it because I tend to lean against it and accidentally turn it on. Even with these faults, I would still recommend it.

We had a Kenmore Elite for the last 20 years. It still works but the racks are rusty and the tines are breaking off. This Maytag is almost as good but it's a whole lot quieter. If the house is completely quite I can hear it running. But with the tv on or people talking I have to look to see if the lights are on to know it's on.

It is actually very easy to use and not very loud at all
