This is another of a 'kit' of kitchen appliances we purchased from Best Buy for a new house. We bought this Maytag washer with a dryer of the same brand. Although we've only owned it for three months it's been working very well. It's easily adjustable for the load requirements, is efficient with water and energy, and best of all cleans the clothes well. So far it's been a good bargain.

We have small laundry closet and were forced to buy smaller appliances, but we were lucky to find this very affordable washer with many great features and a through door. If you have similar space issues we highly recommend it

This replaced the first neptune model that was made. This is amazing. Capacity is so big. It seemed like we were doing laundry all the time, now hardly ever. Not in a gross way, it just takes awhile for the two of us to get enough to get going. However, It does have a load sensor so it can tell when it has enough water in it. Great professional installation and we are very pleased.

Though not digital, this washer has a large number of wash cycles and water temp settings, enough to cover any washing I can think of. Clothes come out clean. Now to see if it is a durable machine.

Large washing basin to accommodate large loads, comforters and larger items. Very easy to use with auto-load sizing, numerous options for different fabrics and items. Quiet and automatic operation. Takes a bit longer (about 70-75 minutes) for a full wash than traditional washers but items are cleaned well.

It is so much bigger than what I had before. I love my top loader, no more front loads. Quiet and because it is so much bigger I can do 1 load 9f was instead of 2 or 3 loads.

Great machine without so many electronics (which always go bad). It cleans my clothes and handles a large load. The only con for this machine is that's it a bit noisy

Washer is easy to use. The controls are easy to understand. It has the perfect options for cycle choices. Not over the top with great sounding, but unnecessary buttons or gadgets.

I love my new Maytag washer. It senses the right amount of water for the load size. It has a low, small agitator that gently moves the clothes around. Everything comes out very clean and it’s a real water saver. My last washer was a Maytag. I replaced it after 16 years. Never had a service call on it and was still working when replaced.

Above average washing machine for the money

I only give the washing machine a good rateing. It does take a bit getting use to using less water. If you are used to doing small loads of the same type of clothes than I can see using the normal setting that uses less water. If you like to wash different types of clothing together it seems the bulky sheets setting works the best because on normal setting the clothers will not be pulled down in to the water to get cleaned, Another setting that is missing from this washer versus our old washer is a setting for extra long spin cycle. Clothes coming out of the Maytag washer seem much more wet than from our old washer there by requiring a longer drying time. I do rate the new Maytag better on the loading of the washer. Our old machine was very touchy on load balance.

Very attractive features include the smoke 'glass' top that allows viewing of all stages of the wash cycle. No agitator means less clothes damage over time. QUIET operation is a plus. If you are in the market for a new large capacity family washing machine, this should be on the top of your list. It's forever on mine.

Washer works well, is nice looking, pretty quiet and holds a lot of clothes. I love that it doesn’t lock for the 1st several minutes and the glass top fun to look through!

My first HE washer. Followed the loading instructions and soap dispensing exactly and amazed at how clothes can be cleaned so well with about 75% less water. For those who can't wrap their head around this, there is the deep water cycle and/or the extra rinse choice. Really spins the water out of your clothes which is easier on your dryer.

This was the first washer I have ever purchased. I am very happy. It is easy to use and even fun. I know I am spoiled now, having had to use shared washers in apartment buildings or laundromats for the past 20 years. This one is great, sleek, modern, and has plenty of options for whatever the case may be.
