A great family washing machine

I love that it is a top loader. It works well, although the clothes come out very wrinkled. As a single person, I think I bought the wrong size machine. This one is too large for the kind of washing I normally do. On the other hand, I need to do fewer loads because of its size.

Maytag Washer

Starting it is a bit tricky also. Having to hold down buttons to a certain way. But if you want something very basic ,no bells and whistles no extra expense this is a choice.

Clothes Come Out Clean!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Delivery was amazing and this washer is much better than the front load high efficiency washers as the clothes come out much clear since it does use the right amount of water which you can control from the panel depending on your load. I really love how the clothes come out of the washer. The mode for delicates is great! The best part is the depth of this washer because I don't have to worry about whether the blankets will fit as it has a huge capacity!

The washer we wanted was on backorder and our washer had already broken. Read all the reviews good, bad and in the middle. If you do you will see things that stand out even through the 4 star reviews. Number one is this thing is NOISEY, has a buzz to it which is very annoying, buzzes through all cycles. I would not buy this machine if your laundry room was inside your house. Two, laundry softener has to be diluted with "Warm water" before you add it????? Who's going to do that??? Three, on spin it seems slightly unbalanced, doesn't walk the floor but it shakes a lot. Four, just opening the lid you see how cheap this machine is. I feel just starting to use it we made a mistake, good news is we are old and should die soon.

The spin cycle leaves the clothes very dry reducing time in the dryer. Washing time is a little longer than the older Maytag washer it replaced.

I gave up. Now less than 5 years after purchase it inexplicably decided not to turn on. I'm never buying Maytag products again. They offer warranties but don't even have personnel to send out to fix broken machines that are still under warranty and their outsourced repair company charges $145 JUST TO LOOK, but not repair anything. Avoid Maytag.
