Awesome machine for those who hate doing laundry

I seriously loathe having to do laundry... That is... Until I got this machine. It's super simple, and it looks super fancy, but that's not where the awesomeness ends! This machine has so many settings you will soon realize you've been doing your laundry wrong your whole life. It will get your loads so perfectly clean, you won't hate everything in your closet anymore, and it cuts down on drying time because it spins everything so dry... For the first time in my life I don't have to sit by my washer praying, doing a spiritual cleanse to exercise the demons, or do the ancient booby dance in the hopes that my bras make it through a cycle in 1 piece... This machine is amazing!.... Now I just sit by my old dryer praying that it will soon realize it's no match for this beautiful new contraption, and will move on to its final resting place, so my husband will let me buy the matching dryer.

This American made machine is amazing. Our clothes are cleaner than ever. The sanitizing cycles leave everything bright and fresh. The machine produces these results with very little water. The dial -instead of incomprehensible computer commands, makes learning how to use this machine a breeze.

This machine is superb in quality and build. I had high expectations for Maytag but they have left me almost speechless with this one. Hardly makes any noise while on and will make your clothes really clean!!!

We Love our New Maytag 4.8 Cu Washer. We Replaced our Samsung Model Purchased in 2009. I grew up with Maytag-Whirlpool, and will Purchase these Brands from now on. Nice and Sleek and Easy to Use. Runs very quiet.

This maytag is similar to the one we had for eight years, but is .5 cu ft bigger, has more technology for sizing the wash, but has well-tried components for reliability and adds steam for even more sanitation during the pandemic. sits on the older pedestal which saved us money. Easy to set. Quiet.

    Maytag Washer from Bestbuy

I have now had my Maytag washer from Bestbuy for 18 months. I absolutely love her! Purchasing from Bestbuy was such a great experience. The sales person was helpful and took the time to understand my needs. I purchased the washer on Dec 17, and it was delivered Dec 22; installation went smoothly as the service persons were professional and knowledgeable. This Maytag washer has been terrific from day one to the present. I am pleased to say that I just made the final payment, as Bestbuy gave me 18 months to pay for it at zero interest. I highly recommend Bestbuy for appliance purchases!

    Maytag Washer and Dryer

I would recommend these products. Maytag, however, needs to provide better "how to instructions like "how to wash clothes or dry clothes" Also, that manual needs to describe how to use the buttons on the machines. The current manual is almost totally a service/owner manual. And, anything online that Maytag offers is no better. Lastly, I would recommend these products again. However, I would only have Best Buy deliver the products. Not set them up. The Geeks on Wheels 3rd-party contracted technician had never read the manual. He also recommend that I plug the washer into an extension cord [rather than follow the owner's manual on Page 16, which warns to NOT DO THAT. ] He also DID NOT clear the air outlet vent for the dryer from the inside to the outside before hooking the dryer up. The company that he was reporting to at the time (I think it is FSA) was pushing him and pushing him to do FAST work and then to move to the next job. So, that did not help. Because, when that tech returned to recheck his work; his assistant and that tech did a good job - no scratches on the machines. But, they did accidentally rip my rug. Which, I already filed a claim on. Now, I am waiting for FSA to contact me to repair the rug. BOTTOM LINE, Best Buy, I would get out of the appliance business altogether. You are HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE AT IT. WITHOUT THE GOOD EQUIPMENT THAT YOU SELL, you would not be able to compete. And please, stop having your employees tell me that they are sorry. That is not a good response to a complaint. A good response would be something that would have more of a problem-solving attitude to it. Not, I am sorry but ....wait for it...I can't do a thing for you. Because, Best Buy has gone to contracting so much out that if your really dig into the operations of our business, you will find that the Best Buy Big Stores put on a great face in terms of being functional. Which, in terms of computers and other, they might just be. But, in terms of large appliances, Best Buy is still learning like a newbie.

The unit initially worked as expecte.  Over time, it has developed infrequent bugs that typically are cleared with a manual power cycle.  Our previous LG worked nearly a decade w/o issue (not plugging LG, just the truth). Now, the unit is 100% down.  Unit was used four days ago without issue.  Contacting Maytag for service required a 30 minute wait on hold.  30 minutes on hold ... I thought Maytag's units were advertised as tanks.  After making the service appointment, a local service center contacted me and advised me the unit does not have a 10 year warranty.  While staring at the '10 year warranty' sticker still affixed to the front of the unit, I was told the purchase date was required to proceed with the service appointment.  As I could not produce the exact purchase date on the phone at that time, that service appointment was canceled.  I was able to get a second appointment scheduled with a different repair shop now that I possess the required purchase date information. After being contacted by the second repair shop and getting the appointment finalized, the CSR asked for some more details of the problem.  I provided the details of the issue and the CSR starting looking possible parts the tech might need.  This is really turning around I thought.  The CSR advised me the most likely suspect part CANNOT BE ORDERED UNTIL 2/28/2020 from the factory.  The  next likely part that failed CANNOT BE ORDERED PERIOD.  Why should I purchase a product that is basically retired once I purchase it and has this type of support? My experience has been Maytag touts dependability and reliability but does not deliver.

Large washer. It is really quiet. I don't even know its on with the laundry room door closed. The only downside is that it is huge, so make sure you have the space for it in your laundry room. Also, I hate how on both this appliance and the matching dryer, I have to hold down the start button for 3 full seconds before it starts. Might be a safety thing, maybe I can read the manual to change it, but I always stop holding the button a second too short and find out that the load didn't start.

This is my first Maytag washer. It is quiet and gets the clothes clean. I feel like the wash time for soiled clothing is a bit long, but better to get them clean the first time. The capacity is perfect to fit a few of my husbands work pants and shirts. Now I can do my laundry in just a few loads and be done, rather than a bunch of loads and it takes me all day. I have had it for a couple weeks and so far I am satisfied.

Weve been using it non stop almost everyday and it is running, sounding smooth and does a great job washing the clothes. I love the Keep Fresh Option as my wife tends to forget to swap out the clothing.

Overall it runs well and cleans well. Sadly one issue is a fault in how it handles extra suds. With all the different HE detergents its hard to always be consistent with things and this washer will treat too much detergent (and suds) as an error and if its bad enough it leaks out of the washer..... Not sure this is a good solution for this problem, but overall so long as you don't over do it your fine.

Quiet and efficient. My last Maytag lasted 25 years. Like the large size. The option to stack is a great feature. I am extremely happy with quality of cleanliness. Does not spin to wrinkle the clothing.

This thing was quiet as a whisper. More slender than our old one and though we expected it to stick out more than our old unit it really doesn't seem to. The square opening gives it less of the bubble feel of most front load washers.

So far so good, seems to do the job. The install team from Best buy was excellent. Hopefully this will continue to work because Maytag has the worst customer service in the history of man. Our last Model died after 3 years of light use and despite the 10 year warranty on the tub it wasn't fixed due to the extended time to get someone out here. Who can live without a washer for over 40 days. hopefully this will preform better.

We have been thinking of updating our washer and dryer for some time now. We finally decided to move forward with the Maytag Front Loader. We absolutely love the new machine. The delivery was quick and they installed it in what seemed like seconds. I would confidently recommend Maytag, my grandmother loves that brand. Its mainly why we went forward, name recognition. We can wash at full capacity again! Several features that we havent been able to use, but so far so good!

We have had this washing machine for just about a week and i really wish it came with a user manual. We had our maytag Neptune for over 20 years and obviously the technology is totally different thesr days. I love the washer and i find that it seems to clean the clothes very well. When using the preset cycles, i.e. delicates, the clothes come out of the washer very wet. I know that it prevents harming the clothes but they are dripping! One thing i must say is that this machine is huge! I can put what i think is a normal size load in only to find that i must split it on half to dry! I wish that we were in a position to purchase the matching dryet...but that's not an option at this time. All in all i definitely live it and it is so quiet! I would recommend that if you need a well made machine that works well and is large don't think twice about purchasing this one! Also, Best Buy service is top motch. They sent texts to keep us updated on delivery time and the delivery man called us to let us know when he would be here. And they arrived 5 minutes early! Great system and the installation was perfect...the installer ran it through a cycle before leaving to be sure it was working perfectly. I would definitely buy appliances from Best Buy again!

Washes the clothes without wearing them out or even degrading the color in the clothes. Cycle lengths are great to competition. And the drum is HUGE. Easily does our comforter. Don't hesitate.
