I love this range. It is sleek in design, easy to use all the burners and has a center one that I love. The oven bakes evenly and perfectly. I have not used the convection oven setting on it. I love how fingerprints don’t show

For anyone switching from electric to gas we'd suggest you educate yourself on the differences in cooking / baking with gas. From what we are now learning, majority of professionals prefer gas, but things like bake time etc. differ with gas. As to the stove itself, its well made with a lot of features. Very little storage in the drawer though, and it makes something of a dull "bang" noise when the oven heats up / metal inside expands.

I like it. Simple. Gas stove getting hard to find. Nice looking. Does the job. The only thing I wished was that the middle had its own rack as it makes it hard for the pans to cook well with the grill in the way. But you can remove it.

I give it only four stars because I feel it takes longer to bake than other ranges. The convention is nice, it does help with a more even baking in the center of the oven. It has a lot of space inside the oven and I have baked 5 different dishes at once, I could have put one more inside, obviously the bottom dishes will bake faster that the ones at the middle or top of the oven. Another reason why I rated 4 stars is because the flames of the larger burners stay very high even at the lowest setting and they are located at the front, I personally think that is a better idea to put them at the back that way you have less risks of getting burned, specially if you have little ones.

First purchased the stainless Maytag refrigerator, then additional appliances to match. Love the finish that hides prints and the powerful burners. Have never been able to cook so fast. Haven’t used the convection feature on the oven yet, so can’t comment on that. Only complaints would be that the bottom drawer can be a little difficult to open and the black top surface shows dirt, but I would image be that would be a problem across all manufacturers with a black top.

Love this stove. Easy to clean and keep clean. I like that the griddle is removable and can be washed fast or use for the quick meals. You can place an extra large steam pot in the middle of the cook top and cook large meals with more convenience because of the burner set up. the control panel is dummy proof and easy to use, even for me. just an all around great stove.

The burners on this stove heat much more evenly than my old stove with the same pots. The high BTU burners bring large quantities to a boil in minutes. The lowest BTU burners simmer nicely. The middle burner is large enough to heat my giant cast iron pan fully. The iron wracks are heavy and interlink together, thwarting my large dogs’ attempts to drag them off, and can’t be knocked askew accidentally, but lift off easily for cleaning. None of my pots or pans have trouble sitting upon them. The huge oven does have a broiler in the top, heats quickly, and cooks more evenly. I had no problem baking lasagna & roasting garlic bread with the broiler.

I bought this Maytag stove for all of its great features, especially the convection feature. My Thanksgiving meal and all of the sides came together easily. This stove comes with THREE RACKS, but for TK day, I took out one. I had room for a big bird and side dishes too, with room to spare. I am not crazy about the iron grates across the top, as I prefer four burners with strong grates over each, so I have room to put my spoon rest, and easier to clean, in my opinion. Most of the newer models of stoves have the grates across the top now. The griddle does not fit over the middle oval-shaped burner--it only fits well over the two side burners. The vents at the front of the stove vent nicely to the sides of the door rather than toward the knobs or toward the handle, which would make them too hot to touch (a complaint about other stoves). Also, the knobs are die-cast metal instead of plastic, so they will hopefully hold up for the duration. Love the convection oven, as it runs quietly and works very well to brown the cookies just right! The knobs are intentional in their use--they must be pushed in and turned to the correct flame height. (Some stoves have knobs that are easy to accidentally brush against and turn on by accident--a real hazard!)

I bought this right before Thanksgiving. This oven was a powerhouse for our T day dinner. I used the convect roast setting and the turkey came out perfect, as well as having many other dishes in the oven with it. Lots of space, love the interior light that stays on. Yes, the enamel top does scratch easily so I've been using paper towels and Dawn dish detergent. I like that the heat does not vent near the knobs. I can't seem to figure out how the griddle lays flat on the range yet. It doesn't seem to line up right. I actually like the orange color of the panel, it's different. Hopefully, this oven will stand the test of time!

THE STOVE FEELS SUBSTANTIAL AND HIGH QUALITY. THE CENTER BURNER I NEVER USE, BUT THE VARIOUS SIZE OF BURNERS ARE VERY USEFUL. THE CONTINUOUS GRATES ARE SOLID AND VERY USEFUL TO MOVE HOT POTS AROUND AND EASY TO CLEAN.

Overall I like my range, but some things I wish were different. I don't like that the middle eye is NOT the one you use for the griddle. You are supposed to use the two right eyes at different settings, so, I never use the griddle. The bottom drawer is flimsy and hard to pull out, plus, dust flows right in so I'm constantly cleaning it. I do love some things about my range so overall it's a good buy.

Love love love this range, are only complaint is the griddle that comes with it is only designed for the right or left two burners and not the center long burner what we wanted to primarily use it for. Other then that no complaints it's awesome

It's a nice stove wish the top was any color but BLACK! Black looks great when it's clean but let it sit over night and you can see all the dust on it. The Maytag Stove cooks well it seems heavy duty could be since it's stainless steel. My wife is cooking pies and chicken again so she must like it , so my wife's happy I'm happy!
