The WORST dryer

Then, it quit heating and spinning. Now it's February 24th, I have a disassembled dryer in my house due to Maytag not wanting to fix the problem, they have installed a new motor, new board, new heating element, new pulley and we still DONT have a working dryer. After now going to the laundry mat every weekend they still want to keep putting new parts in this machine that's defective. Customer service has hung up on me multiple times. Managers there do not care about their defective product. I just am told "we are sorry for the inconvenience". I will be filing a BBB complaint and never purchasing another Maytag or Whirlpool product.

It replaced a similar Maytag gas dryer that was working fine but my wife had to have the matching dryer when we had to replace the washing machine. It is more difficult to convert to LP than any other Maytag model I have owned, but it is doable if you are patient and have basic tools

I did my first load and when the clothes were dry I had no idea. There is a peep to indicate the cycle is done. However, the sound is so low if the dryer is not in your living room you will not hear it. There is no way to make that sound louder. That is my only complained. So MAYTAG, give us the option of making that sound loud enough to be heard in another room.

So far its working great. Installer gets a 0 as he didn't tighten the gas line to the dryer. We had an emergency removal of the dryer in tight spaces to shut gas off and tighten the connection to the dryer.
