||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being a middle aged man who grew up on action heroes of the 80's, I never gave a second chance to any of these teen-centric movies. When I saw the trailer for the third Maze Runner I gave this a second chance and rented it. And loved it. I have no prior knowledge of the books so the mystery presented here drew me in. The camaraderie of the boys and some of their wisdom beyond their years took them past the teenage nonsense I was afraid of. The production value is sky high, the music is fantastic, acting is excellent, and the tension fills the room. The plot moves well and is smooth enough to cover up some of the small holes. I expected a little Lord of the Flies and it's there but minor. The maze sequences were Indiana Jones quality. What I did was put myself in the situation with them, what would I be doing? I'd be with the hero. And that makes it a great experience.
