I've been using McAfee AV for years and it does the job. My only gripe is the cost and the lack of discounted options for students (similar to what Microsoft does). A 3 or 4 year discounted subscription option for college students would be nice.

McAfee used to be good about 10 years ago. Its very slow, has very low detection rates, and its one of the hardest products to remove from a computer.
