If you're a Trump supporter you'll probably only see a bunch of immigrants taking jobs from Americans (jobs that Americans will never do). For the rest of us this is a great movie. It shows how hard immigrants have to work just to make it in this country. And with enormous luck and extra hard work, a couple might even get to live the American dream; but only if they have exceptional talent. It was only through hard work that these immigrants developed and honed their abilities to be runners. This allowed them to compete at a national level. It was kind of like watching a Rocky montage without the motivational music.

It is a great movie. I would have liked to have had additional followup on the coach's daughters in the bonus material. Did the oldest marry anyone from McFarland? Do either of them still live there? Is the town thriving, or declining now?

This movie is based on a true story though I am sure it has been modified for entertainment value. That being said I really enjoyed this movie. It is your typical underdog adventure but through excellent acting and mood setting you led to care for the characters and their story. Definitely worth the 2 hours of your life.

Uplifting movie based on true story. Real life people depicted in movie acknowledges it's not a documentary, but says it captures the essence of people and life at that time, very happy how it was made.

Saw it in the theaters, love the story and the combination of teamwork and culture that the movie highlights. Typical inspirational sports movie from disney - sticks to the mold - but well worth a watch.

Once again Kevin Costner inspires the audience as he always does. Choosing again a true character and a story that should have gotten more attention years ago. Great movie and great price at Best Buy.

I had never watched this movie before but now that I have I recommend everyone watch it. Its honestly a great story about a coach who is able to change the lives of kids.

Nice to know this is based on a true story. Inspirational movie about overcoming racial stereotypes and seeing the true worth of people. One of my favorites.
