Great visuals and nostalgia, but infrequent save points bring the experience down a notch. Could have been more.

Okay, so when this came out on PlayStation it was great. I loved it bought the sequel. So when I heard the remastered it I was pumped. I started to play it and noticed the music had changed. Kinda bummed I loved the original soundtrack. Controls feel clunky and graphics improved but I think it could have been better. They also should have added part 2 with this.

Very good remake and a very fun game. I have not finished it but if yo 100% the game you can play the ps1 original

Nice game as you remember from ps1, if never played it on ps1 now is the perfect time for you to play it. Even if you play it before this remaster look so good, colors are very shiny and sharp very fun and challenging at times if you not play carefully you dead and repeat the level.

A great remake of a Playstation exclusive. While it's not the most technically impressive game you'll play, it stays true to it's original roots and improves where it matters most. Well worth it for any fan of the original and for newcomers alike.

This is a remake, not a remaster, as the graphics are completely redone. From top to bottom, this game looks fantastic on the PS4 Pro. The water, in particular, looks amazing, as it reacts to the player's movement & isn't static. That said, while the gameplay's been improved, it does feel a tad bit outdated. It's still fun, however. I wish they had released MediEvil 2 alongside MediEvil in a collection, though.

Easy to learn, good graphics, fun game play. Simple wander and puzzle type rpg.

To those of you who are worried this one would be another reimagining it like the one on the PSP, I can assure you that it is not. This remake is truly just a remake. Even down to the finest of detail. One thing that impressed me was the use of the original voice actor clips. It is still just as fun now as it was 20 years ago.

one of the best remaster/remakes ever. if you loved the PS1 version of this game you're gonna love this one. For a hidden unlockable - download and complete the Demo on the PS4 store, once you play the full game you unlock Dan's Helment which looks great....but also makes the enemies stronger

this game you play as a boneman and its really fun you run around and do boneman stuff it was based on original game for ps1 but boneman looks way better now gameplay is the same for most part which good because boneman is really fun concept to play please purcahse to get more boneman style games in future

Plays exactly the same as the game from the 90's, merely with a few modern additions such as graphical prowess and added camera features. For those that played the original, you'll love the treatment the game got. Bonus - Finishing the game unlocks an unedited original version from the original Playstation!

Well now, this was a gem for playstation one back in the day but now it's way better. Like the other remastered games such as Crash Bandicoot and Spyro The Dragon this is one to own. Bringing gamers back to the golden era of games after the arcade decade. Highly recommend adding this to your collection.

I really enjoyed playing the original one. It is good to see a classic being brought back to PS4 with the same vibe and an updated look. A must if you enjoyed the original one, and a welcome remake for newcomers.

If you loved the original PSone game, this is a great way to revisit it! Nice graphical upgrade-- a leap from the 90s original. It captures a fun, spooky spirit. The toughest thing about this game are the awkward camera angles. Something you don't experience much in current games. Look past that annoyance and there is fun and rebaked gaming nostalgia to enjoy.

use to play the PS2 version so I was so excited it was released on PS4. The graphics are way better of course and the game play too. MediEvil is a great game to get as a gift for a kid if you don't want to buy him CoD game or GTA game. not that they are similar in any form but definitely PG.
