Customers are saying

Customers value the BackPacker Air 59" Tripod's lightweight and compact design, making it easy to carry and use in various settings. They also appreciate its versatility and ease of use, particularly for travel and street photography. However, some customers express concerns about its stability, especially when using heavier equipment, and the leg locks' reliability. Improvements to the tripod's sturdiness and locking mechanisms would enhance the overall user experience.

Love how compact and lightweight it is. Only con it's a bit complex and ridged to set up

I bought this to put in my photography bag that I fly with. It is the perfect size and very sturdy for such a small product. Love it. Works with your DSLR or phone either. And the remote works great with the iPhone.

I love this tripod. It extends to such a height, but retains its stability. The detachments and storage bag are also a nice touch. I use this mostly with my Nebula Capsule projector, and the built-in level makes it so much easier to set up. And when I'm done, the tripod uses black magic to fold into a very small footprint. This tripod rocks.

I've only had an opportunity to use The BackerAir Tripod once for camping. It took me a little while to feel comfortable using the tripod. Perhaps as I go camping more I will get a little bit more used to this tripod. I will say that the tripod performed as advertised.

I was waiting for this one to drop in price and it sure did! At $150, I couldn't pull the trigger, but at $80, it was an easy decision. But after owning now for over 2 months, I have to say that this is well worth the $150 price tag and it's a steal at $80! I have a video review on it which you should be able to find if you google it. (Des on YT)

I bought this little tripod fora trip in NYC. It wasn't the sturdiest tripod I ever used, but was a tripod that I can takeinside a messenger bag. Very easy to travel by subway and walking the city without the bulkiness of a big tripod. Without this tripod, I would miss a lot of photo opportunities.

Perfect tripod for everyday use or needing something small for back packing. Locking legs, aluminum build and looks really good. My favorite tripod.

This tripod isn't as sturdy as I would like it to be. I also didn't like the height of it. It's way too low. The legs aren't secure at all.

Not a bad item; however, it is a bit clumsy and not made for people or are not intuitive. Still use it but not made for what I needed it for.
