Customers regard the RoadTrip 61.6" Tripod highly for its sturdiness, light weight, and the convenience of its monopod conversion. The tripod's compact size and reasonable price are also appreciated, along with the smooth ball head; however, some users have experienced issues with the leg extension mechanism.

This tri pod is perfect for traveling. I'm a truck driver and pretty much travel all the time. Having a tri pod that folds down to 15 inches a
And comes with a carrying case is perfect for me.
The ball joint head is super strong so positioning your camera is a snap. The head also allows for a silky smooth pan movement.
All in all it fulfills all my needs. But watch out for the camera release knob. If you don't have your hand on the camera when you loosen it, the camera will most likely fall.

I haven’t had much time to use this yet, but so far I think it will be a great first tripod for me as I am beginning to learn more about photography. It’s fairly lightweight and easy to use. I especially like the ease of converting to a monopod. I would recommend this product.

I was looking for a tripod that would be easier to carry than my current tripod. This one seems to fit the bill. When collapsed, it is fairly compact. It sets up easily. It's fairly stable for a light tripod. Good enough for mirrorless cameras and smaller DSLRs. If you want to add weight to it to help stabilize it further, it provides a place at the bottom of the center post to hang things like your camera bag. The biggest surprise was how fluid the head pans which is a nice feature for video.
I did not give it five stars because there is always room for improvement.
This does not compete with the heavier more expensive tripods which are more sturdy and offer more features, but it is a nice alternative if you want to travel light.

I have purchased three tripods. Priced from $50.00 to this one priced at $200.00. I read reviews and came into the store a number of times to look at the MeFOTO A1350 Roadtrip tripod. I didn't want to spend this amount of money on a tripod, but the others were not working for me. They won't pan easily, or adjust up and down or side to side. And try put a full size DSLR with a medium lens on it was a joke. I had paid over a $150.00 for my last one. I went ahead and purchased this MeFOTO and had the opportunity to take it on a road trip this week. It preformed beyond my expectations. The biggest plus's are as follows, 1. Holds the camera and lens firmly 2. Pans like it is greased, so smooth 3. Adjust to the exact position you want the first time and doesn't move until you release it. 4. It converts form a tripod to a monopod in seconds, so you are not carrying two items 5. The case that comes with it, travels like a champ. I do not regret spending $200.00 on this tripod, and honestly knowing with I know now would have spent $300.00. It is a great product for a great price. "you get what you pay for" The MeFOTO A1350 is proof of that.

This is a great travel tripod, with very good stability in most conditions. I have not tested it in extreme winds, but in moderate wind it has held its own, even with long shutter speeds (10-15 seconds). In windier conditions, I usually lower the center column and shorten the legs.
I don't love the mount, as the knob sits very close to the other head knobs. You have to be very conscious not to twist the wrong one since they are all so similar (I've almost done this a number of times, and almost had my camera fall off as a result). Just be careful with that, and you'll be fine.
Overall, the compact and lightweight design is great for hiking and traveling. I have not found a better tripod for this price range.

I researched Tripod's quite a bit before buying this one. Love this thing. The ease to turn it into a Monopod is quick and easy. It is built very sturdy, looks great and the price is right compared with others such as Manfrotto...definitely cleaner and easier to work with than my decade old tripod this one replaced. Nice carrying bag too! The only issues I had were the simple instructions that really didn't contain enough info.

Great stand. I would have given it 5 stars, however one knobs was really stuck. Had to apply major force to get it to loosen up. Once it turned, it turned easily.

A traveling photographer essential. You need to have level shots if you are doing anything landscape or astrophotography. I can't hold a camera up that stable for that long. Makes LIFE EASIER. Lots of angles and ability to hang your gear bag for extra stability.
A bit on the heavier side compared to the carbon fiber counter part. But its still good.

I have owned several different stands in the past. This is by far the best stand I have bought.
It is sturdy enough to set up and walk away without worrying that someone will knock it over. It sets high enough to get a good view over people's head in a crowd. When the stand is collapse it takes up very little space.
I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
