    Looking Good

The update to 1080p and better hardware is a nice step for the Neptunia series. Running around dungeons doesn't look massively better, but its much sharper and smoother which is certainly a bonus. The best part is the VN style scenes though with super sharp animated sprites. Gives the game an overall great feel. Combat is about the same as usual but with an added system to break enemy parts occasionally, but it takes forever and isn't remotely necessary making it more of a pain than a bonus. Giant battles added in are really no different from normal fights and just have a large scale to them. Overall its pretty good, but nothing super new or different beyond the much nicer graphical updates.

The game brings back characters from previous titles, new story, new characters; and all with good quality. No need to play the previous titles. It's a great jrpg.

The game has an enjoyable cast and somewhat funny references littered throughout the game. Your enjoyment of the game will depend on whether or you can look past the surface of the game and enjoy game for what it is trying to make fun of. The battle system is fairly simplistic with alot of repetition with dungeons. I would buy this only if you enjoyed the story and cast in the previous games

The next game in the Neptunia series will be familiar to those who have played the previous entries. Lots of dialogue and simple dungeons with great, flashy battles. This time around the game feels much more polished thanks to the far more consistent framerate. Definitely worth a look you're a fan of the series.

After a successful run of games on PS3, Megadimension Neptune is the franchise's first title on the PS4. There are two main differences between this game and the previous titles, one being the structure of the game itself and the second relating to gameplay. The game itself if actually 3 separate games packaged into 1 game, with one common theme tying them together. The big difference in terms of the gameplay comes from the fact that there are now random encounters on the overworld map when attempting to access the dungeons or towns. It unfortunately adds nothing worthwhile to the experience and is just annoying and a waste of time. Still, it doesn't detract too much from the actual game itself which is still quite fun to play. For veteran fans of the series, it is a worthwhile and enjoyable purchase and is also easily accessible for newcomers as well.

The never ending fun of Hyperdimension series

Megadimension is part of the long line games series around the Hyperdimension games that started with the PS3 and remakes on the VITA. The gameplay is fun and really has a lot of humor towards its players on their actions. It's your normal JRPG but if you haven't played any of the past games you will feel lost in a lot story line and background jokes.

If you liked the previous games, there's no reason that you wouldn't like this one. It is a different though, even the graphics are a bit different and reworked since it's a new engine. Battles seem to be more difficult in challenge (barring any weapon dlc you may purchase). Recommended for JRPG's fans who like quirky stuff.

Game is fun and enjoyable. The battle system and the crafting system are simple but fun. While playing all the other games is necessary for story sake, the game has a very easy to follow plot.

The cover alone is interesting enough lol. This game is just good fun... theres nothing too serious going on... the storyline is silly. But its still different... and we need more different/unique games in gaming. Its a very good game... but the graphics aren't that great... and don't expect to be blown away by the storyline. if you're looking for a great story id say look away

The thing that has made this series so much fun is the tendency to make inside jokes about the gaming industry and various stuff that has to do with it so if you're someone that's been a longtime gamer, these jokes will really hit home. The combat is the standard fare Neptunia combat where you take turns running around a board and hitting an enemy. Maybe I'm not far enough into it, but it doesn't seem like the combat has changed much. What has changed is the graphics. Wow, this game is gorgeous. It's not that complex graphically but the art style is wonderful and everything is simply super pretty to look at. All in all, it's a decent game if you're looking for something not too emotionally heavy and just want to relax and have a laugh.

Fun RPG game if you're into Japanese games, the character interactions are extremely funny. Don't expect anything like the Witcher 3 though, or you will be disappointed.
