I received this the other day -- already the bracketing to hold the iPod in place was busted. I kept it, figuring it's easy enough to replace a $2 part that doesn't affect the functionality of the device. Then I also discovered part of the moulding on it was busted. A few hours after being plugged in, it stopped providing audio -- all I got was a hiss out of the speakers. If I blew one of the subwoofers out it'd be impressive, seeing as the volume on it only was moderate. Needless to say, it's going back to Best Buy.

I bought this refurb for my wife and son to use their IPODs on. It also has the cd player. The cd player latch that locks door down was broken and it would not read the cd. The sole purpose of buying this again was for the ipods and that works great with great sound. You take your chances with a refurb.

Unfortunately I was sent the wrong color...online site pictured a refurbised white Memorex IDock and that is what I wanted however I received a black one...we decided to keep it anyway as it is a great product, easy to use, functional and has good sound quality for the price....I had bought my son a new one last Christmas and he loved it...we wanted a white one to match my daughter's room, but I was sent black...so be careful what they send you...thanks

For the first 2 weeks this worked fine. After that, the speakers started to hiss. I bought this for my office, so the volume must be kept low. Well, the hissing got so loud that I could no longer hear the music over it. Luckily this happened right before the 30 warranty was up. On a positive note, Best Buy was great about letting me return it.
