While the second one felt like a dud, the 3rd one felt like a true sequel. The humor was there, the characters were on point, and it felt like it had the same feel as the first film.

I'd owned the 2d version before and the 3d version was also fun to watch. Nothing truly earth shattering in 3d (by comparison, avatar is the most amazin 3d movie ever, dr strange is a mind bender, this one is good). story wise, this one is great. i'm not sure if its better than 1 or not, but its certainly around that.

Great plot, special effects, great acting especially from Josh Brolin for a SF movie. This one is much better than the 2nd installment. It has time travel which I always like if it's done right. And this one delivers. If the price is right don't pass it.

I love all the actors in this film. Brilliant series. Bought it for the free digital copy, but it was Ultraviolet, and they closed down 2 days before I purchased this copy! Oh well.

The third installment in the Men In Black franchise is right up there with the quality of the first film. In fact, the second movie should be ignored entirely... yes, it's that bad. The film is funny with many memorable scenes and characters. Josh Brolin is also hilariously convincing as a younger Tommy Lee Jones, and the relationship between his and Will Smith character is what truly makes this movie stand out. In addition to the great story, the audio and video quality is fantastic. That said, the 3D presentation is unfortunately not the best. It's not the worst either, but it pales in comparison to the 2D video presentation. There are a few well done 3D scenes here and there, but overall this movie is best viewed in it's superior 2D format. Unless you find a great deal on the 3D version of the film like I did, save your money and get the 2D version. The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless soundtrack is enveloping and clear regardless of the version you decide to get.

If you liked MIB and MIB II, MIB III will not disappoint. I think it is much better than MIB II. For the benefit of those who are unfamiliar with this series, the basic plot is a group of government agents (Men In Black), working with friendly otherworld aliens on Earth (who live among us in New York City), work to foil plots by evil otherworld aliens that will destroy the planet. So if this seems too silly for you, no point in reading on. If you can suspend belief and just go with it, the movie will not disappoint. Thinking about it, there may be some inconsistencies with the characters in I and II, but just go with it. In this particular outing, Josh Brolin plays a younger agent K and does it quite well. One small part of the movie that I found amusing and wondered how many of the audience "got it" was the meeting of agents J and K with Andy Warhol in 1969 NYC. Can they really do this stuff and put that notice at the end of the movie about how any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely coincidental? I want to go back and watch the first two MIB movies again and then watch this one again.

I was worried about the whole time travel issue. A ton of films and TV shows have laid waste to their plots and their characters by doing stupid stuff with time travel and or alternate dimensions etc The whole linchpin was James Brolin, if his Tommy Lee Jones vibes came off as forced or even worse, completely unalike then the series was doomed. While the young agent K is slightly more cheerful and upbeat as his future self, it is easy to understand that at that point is in life he hadn't yet seen some of the horrors that await in later life. But as far as mannerisms and even body language, it is spot on. I think is probably my favorite over MIB I. I am not a huge fan of MIB II. My .02 cents.

By far the best MIB! The story was excuted very well with a good pacing on sequences and a bit more action than before. When I first saw the trailer I completely dismissed this third entry. Best buy released the blu ray on an exclusive steel book packaging which led me to purchase it and thus watch it. I enjoyed every bit of it. The scene locations and colors are very vibrant and transfered flawlessly onto blu ray which makes this a showcase title for any hdtv.

This is not a bad movie, it is also not the best in the series; but, overall it is an enjoyable movie. Some of the special effects are amazing and Josh Brolin plays fantastic younger K. My only qualm with the movie is the story seems fairly thrown together including the conclusion and it had a little more language than anticipated which made some unexpected parts a little too much for my younger kids. Overall, it is fun and a good addition to the franchise.

MIB has come full circle with this installment and should bow out gracefully now. Josh Brolin was the perfect choice for a young K and Will Smith is funny as ever as Agent J. The problem arises in the entry of the time-travel scenario. Once a series hits this point it is usually down hill from there. Don't get me wrong, it is a good movie. Action, comedy, drama and great effect. It is just time to bow out gracefully and leave the franchise at a high point
