As others have mentioned. The games are not on the cartridge and requires a massive near 50gb download. To put that in perspective the next highest storage amount taken up by my library of over 30 switch games is 12GB and that is a digital game that came out recently. I don't even know how they managed to make it so large of a download. These games wouldn't have been half that size on their original platform. You need to do better Konami. If you messed up this bad with MGS i hate to think how you're gonna mess up my beloved Suikoden remasters

Fun game if you like stealth action game and/or an MGS fan but it takes a while to download all the games/extra content. Highly recommend a large SD card and fast wi-fi.

MGS2 and MGS3 are as good as I remembered. People are expecting this game to be next gen console quality. MGS1 is a little rough to play do to the pixelation. Play it on the dock with the pro controller for best results. Play it handheld when yr taking a poop or on the go.

Heads up that if you buy the physical release, it is missing the core MG games and require a digital download of them. All the games are separate on your nintendo switch homescreen and do not have a contained launcher. The games are not graphically updated for next gen consoles, it’s a bare bones port. If you don’t mind that, the best upside is that you’re able to play these titles on the go. It’s getting a low rating because the cartridge does not include every game advertised and low framerate performance on nintendo hardware. I’ve included below the details of what you get. The only games on the cart are:
- Metal Gear (MSX)
- Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
- Metal Gear (NES)
- Snake's Revenge

I think this collection only has metal gear solid for the original PLAYSTATION, as well as Metal Gear for both MSX and NES, Snakes Revenge, and Metal Gear 2: solid snake as well as all the extras on the cartridge.
