More of nostalgia for me since these are the first games I fully completed when I was young.

Love Metal Gear, and all I expected from this package was the ability to play these games on modern consoles, and on that it delivers! Different versions of MGS1, language options, complete screen plays, there’s nice content in here. However there is room for improvement in the future thru patches. These are ports of the HD collection versions, although there’s issues that have come up regarding lack of visual options, no improved resolutions, lighting is strangely too blown out and bright. Hopefully these issues will get addressed but if you are just looking to play this batch of Metal Gears on a modern console, this will satisfy.

Every game is perfectly represented as a 1:1 to their original counterpart with a boost in resolution. The downside is the collection is in Konami’s hands and they’re terrible. This isn’t really a remaster of the games as no additional work has been added to the presentation. As a result, you get each game just as it released on both PS1 and PS2 for better or worse.

Nostalgia for current platforms. The Metal Gear Solid Collection is great for newcomers as well. Follow Solid Snake and the clones through out the years. Great value.

Good collection of games. Good for metal gear fans to enjoy

Whether you're a longtime fan or a newcomer to the series, you can't go wrong with this collection. Three classics remastered for modern consoles and just as good as you remember!

1st off, these games are straight up ports (a couple even from the PS3 Legacy Collection); however, I'm fine with that. Any time past-gen games are preserved into newer generations I'm happy. Of course, Konami could've done a lot more with this (like Twin Snakes instead on PS1's M.G.S.), but on a brighter note, there are some good extras here on an easy to navigate menu. I still recommend. Oh ... & there's more to come, as this is only Volume 1!

3 great games and a whole lot of nostalgia. MGS 1 will always be my favorite of the series. I'm not the biggest stealth game fan, but these games find a way to balance the stealth and the action. The only downside is Best Buy uses FedEx, unfortunately. I had to have a replacement sent to me because the first one never arrived, and tracking info stopped being updated.

It came all good, just in time, I just didn’t like the gameplay since i only kinda liked the number 3, overall it’s a good game just not for me

Awesome collection if you can catch it on sale. Great run for nostalgia especially if your excited for the snake eater remake

Great collection in order to play some peak Kojima content. There are parts that required you to exit out of the game to get to the collection menu in order to see the CD Case or "switch" controller ports.
